Working there was a nightmare due to the GM. The salesforce has no job security unless they are grandfather claused in. Impossible to make a commission and its $13 an hour. sales force is expected to handle delivery mess-ups, damaged merchandise issues, and positively anything that goes wrong beyond their control or job description. The GM is an ex-military tyrant who treats salespeople like they are beneath him and berates them on a whim. Toxic culture.

Comeaux's customer service and the protection plan they offer are both JOKES! Contacted customer service via phone to report that our bed slats broke after weeks of purchase and 1 week of use. The customer service manager advised that she would replace the slats but that I need to put carpet in my room because my tile floors are the reason the slats bent in half. She advised that she would contact me when the new slats came in, but 3 weeks passed by without any updates. Contacted her about a broken bed post as well and she refused to replace it because she claimed the bed had been abused. Finally she agreed to replace it "this time only". She advised to come pick up all of the replacement parts. Drove over an hour to the store to be turned around because she never gave any details on what to do with the broken items. I then contacted her again and requested a refund, but she forwarded an email to me that she claimed she sent me, but never actually sent anything to me. Then we go back to get the replacement items a second time (once we know what needed to be done) just to be told that they need to order the items. This is no way to treat your customers! I will make sure to never give Comeaux Furniture any of my service in the future.
