The responder said that I told [redacted] not to order any parts because I did not want to spend a lot of money on the machine since it was old I never made that statement! Why would I invest any money in the machine to have it repaired and then request that no parts be ordered? [redacted] told me that the parts might be hard to get since the machine is older As a matter of fact, [redacted] said she would consult with me before she ordered any parts When we talked last she said that she could not fix the machine and that the parts were unavailable I felt that I was being pressured into buying a machine from them, because she kept talking about a machine that she could sell me and use my creditShe said that their policy was for the customer to have a store credit! I then asked her if the store credit could be used on anything in the store, like thread for my machine She said yesI asked her how I could be assured that I had the credit; she stated that it would be in the computer and that if there were a problem, just to ask for her I don't believe that an employee could decide to give store credits unless management had authorized itI think the owner is mad because someone else was able to repair the machine Why would I take the machine somewhere else and pay more money if I did not want it fixed? The person who repaired it told me the that the machine was a quality machine and if all possible I shoul have it repairedIncidentally, the machine required no parts to fix itThe part that had broken was not necessary to fix the machine The machine runs without the partWhen I put the machine on the counter with this repairman, he stated that he knew immediately what the problem was and that he could make it sew without question
