My Name is Crystal O [redacted] , I am the Practice Manager of Columbia River Veterinary Specialists I received your letter, and am having a third party evaluate this case I will send a formal response once that is completed I did attempted to contact this client to discuss her complaint, but was hung up on
Columbia River Veterinary Specialists stands by our previous statement The patient was examined and treated, the treatments and cost of treatments were approved by Ms [redacted] (signed estimate/treatment plan is attached)
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Columbia River Veterinary Service has materially misrepresented the facts in this case and engaged in lying, predatory business practices and deceptive advertising There was no agreement on the treatment, there was no examination by a Veterinary of my cat, and there was no service provided When I left the clinic, my cat had not been examined by the Veterinary, and a fraudulent diagnosis was created six hours after I had left the clinic and my cat had not been seen The "triage" reported is simply a code reference to retaining a potential client by pre-billing a potential client and hold that person hostage for an unreasonable length of time in order to retain the business when the clinic is not appropriately staffed for emergency services as advertised In addition, the fraudulent charges and invented diagnosis is after being seen by another doctor of veterinary medicine the next day This doctor provided the services and correct diagnosis that saved my cat's life The gross negligence of Columbia River Veterinary Services is now being investigated by the State of WashingtonColumbia River's claim of a third-party vindication is yet another deception I reject the advertising claims, deceptive, predatory and fraudulent business practices of Columbia River Veterinary Services and refuse to pay for services not rendered and am disgusted the health and safety of my pet was threatened by this criminal enterprise Sincerely, [redacted]
Ms*** brought her cat, ***, into Columbia River Veterinary Specialists (a Blue Pearl Partner) on 7/21/for three day history of vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite and marked lethargyPatient was examined, bloodwork, urinalysis and outpatient treatment were discussed and agreed upon A treatment plan and estimate were presented to Ms***, which she approved and signed We then took payment for the agreed upon treatment planDiagnostics were performed and outpatient treatments were completed
I attempted to discuss Ms***’s complaint on 7/22/and 7/25/16, but was hung up on Based on the review of the medical care, no issues were identified which would indicate inappropriate patient careThere was a wait from presentation to the hospital and Treatment Plan of hours Based on ***'s initial vitals and history, triage ('assigning the level of urgency'), the medical care provided was appropriateIn addition, a third party review of this case was completed and found there to be no evidence of neglect

complaint, but was hung up on.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Columbia River Veterinary Service has materially misrepresented the facts in this case and engaged in lying, predatory business practices and deceptive advertising.
There was no agreement on the treatment, there was no examination by a Veterinary of my cat, and there was no service provided. When I left the clinic, my cat had not been examined by the Veterinary, and a fraudulent diagnosis was created six hours after I had left the clinic and my cat had not been seen. The "triage" reported is simply a code reference to retaining a potential client by pre-billing a potential client and hold that person hostage for an unreasonable length of time in order to retain the business when the clinic is not appropriately staffed for emergency services as advertised.
In addition, the fraudulent charges and invented diagnosis is false after being seen by another doctor of veterinary medicine the next day. This doctor provided the services and correct diagnosis that saved my cat's life. The gross negligence of Columbia River Veterinary Services is now being investigated by the State of Washington. Columbia River's claim of a third-party vindication is yet another deception.
I reject the false advertising claims, deceptive, predatory and fraudulent business practices of Columbia River Veterinary Services and refuse to pay for services not rendered and am disgusted the health and safety of my pet was threatened by this criminal enterprise.
Sincerely,[redacted]
Columbia River Veterinary Specialists stands by our previous statement. The patient was examined and treated, the treatments and cost of treatments were approved by Ms. [redacted] (signed estimate/treatment plan is attached).
