Columbia Crossing Apartments

Aside from other smaller problems with the apartment (i.e., broken and moldy dishwasher, moldy faucets, etc.), we had an insect infestation from the day that we moved in (5/28/2019). The infestation was with all insects, but the cockroach infestation was the worst. The cockroaches were present throughout the entire apartment including the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, and dining area. The cockroach infestation continued for 4 months while we tried to get Columbia Crossing to help stop the infestation. At first, Columbia Crossing would only allow for their contracted-with pest control company to spray our apartment, which did not help. The pest control man would stay in our apartment for a total of 90 seconds, which provided no help for the issue. After two months of dealing with this, we requested that a better pest control company would come spray our apartment. Columbia Crossing allowed this and reimbursed us for the cost. While it was great they allowed us to use a better exterminator, we had to live with months of anxiety and apprehensiveness that cockroaches would show up anywhere and everywhere in our apartment.
