I am filing this complaint due to the fact that myself as the renter within copperline apt had agreed to move out of the apartment by November 15th Management agreed that I would be refunded half of the months pay due to the fact that I should have been charged from November 1st the prorated amountManagement at copperline apt had ensured me that on November 2nd the day after I I was charged the full rent that I would be refunded $which is half of the full month's rent and it should take up to to business daysAfter a month of continuously asking management the status of this refund and continuing to hear from management that it should arrive any day nowI all of a sudden get told one evening that the check that I have been waiting for for over the past month is not applicable and that it was in my contract saying that I was responsible for the whole month of November even though we had agreed that I would be receiving a prorated amount for the month of November
I moved out of Copperline Apartments (Rainier Property Management) on May 9, I paid my prorated May rent of $($rent and $water/sewer) on May 1, In June I received a statement from Rainier Property Management - Copperline Apartments stating that I owed them an additional $I paid a $deposit and $pet fee when I moved inThe charges they sent me were for the prorated rent of $(already paid on 5/1/see attached documentation), Carpet Cleaning $(odd since they replaced the carpet), Carpet Replacement due to Pet Damage for $879.00, and an Outstanding Balance of $that was unexplainedThe total for the charges were $For credits they had $which would have been the balance of the rent had I stayed through the end of May minus the prorated amount of $that they added back to the the charges above plus my initial $depositPlease see attached documents for all this informationWh
