services vendor, Square, on June per his requestPer Square's terms of service: "When you issue a refund, we temporarily hold the amount of that refund in your Square balanceIt typically takes Square two business days to process a refund, but can take up to seven business daysOnce that process is complete, the refund is applied to your customer's bank account within seven business daysIn total, your customer should see the funds in their account within 9-business days."
As a legal requirement, we ask all customers that cancel a contract to give us notice in writingWe don't dictate how the letter is delivered or the time frame it is delivered in
We had ordered the materials for Mr ***'s home which were custom manufactured by Barton Supply per the engineer on record at a cost of approximately $Mr *** was not charged for these materials
Per Mr ***'s contract, clearly stated is a $cancellation charge that covers office administration, site inspection, materials ordering and handlingThis was taken out of the refund amountThis was explained to Mr ***Mr *** was aware of this charge and left us a voicemail to confirm that he understood and that his refund amount would be the full deposit minus the $cancellation feeThe voicemail has been kept and can be retrieved if necessary
We have left two voicemails for Mr *** since his cancellation but as of 6/29/we have not heard back
Square, our merchant services company, withdrew $from our bank account on 6/18/
