My husband purchased a box for $in Spartanburg, SC on Feb 13, We defrosted steaks, (1) T-bone, (1) NY Strip & (3) thin-cut NY stripsThe color of the meat seemed unnaturalWhen he was grilling them, he said they appeared almost transparent on the grill
Once cooked, we found the texture to be unnatural - almost like hardened gelatinThe flavor was really off - didn't even taste like beef
The absolute WORST quality beef we've ever encounteredWe will never stray from buying local again
I highly suggest that you steer clear (pun intended) of this company

I have seen bad reviews on the beef but as for me I don't but beef from anywhere but one place close to home however I did purchase the chicken breast which were marinated in a southwestern flavor and I can say it was awesomeI did them on the grill and everyone said how good they wereSo if they come by your place I would say go for the chicken!!!

Bought a package deal and it was not a deal at all. The hamburgers have a pork possibly sausage and plum juice content. They taste awful and run a purple disgusting looking juice when cooking. I called the comp. and they advised not eating them as I have a sausage allergy. The steaks are of a texture I have never had. Are they beef? Needless to say this deal turned out to become very expensive dog food.
