Review: I registered to run the Color Blaze 5K on May 16, 2015 at the Canfield Fair Grounds. The race, as well as their business, is titled the "Color Blaze 5K." This indicates that the race is 3.1 m, or 5K, in distance.Upon running the race, I was shocked to discover that the race was only 2.1 m long. Before the race began, the announcer informed us that the race was just under 3.1 miles; he stated that it is 3 miles long. The advertising is false and misleading, as is their company name. Had I known that this was not 3.1 miles, I would not have paid for it.Desired Settlement: The company needs to remove "5K" from their name and replace 1) simply call themselves "The Color Blaze" or 2) "The Color Blaze Fun Run." They also need to update their website to indicate that the course is not 5K long. Nowhere on the website is this indicated; point in case the "about" text, which emphasizes "5K" over and over.
