Colony Bay Apartments

Colony Bay works with poor credit, which is why my fiancee and I moved in here to begin with. The building we live in is ancient and has not been renovated any time in the recent past.

The apartments are small and built with poor quality materials. The first time it rained after we moved in, the ceiling started leaking, causing water damage to our walls, ceilings, and dining room furniture. We called the office immediately, and they told us we would have to wait. it was over 24 hours before they came to our apartment to look at it. Then when they "fixed" it, they jammed a screwdriver in the ceiling to drain it and left. The next day, they came in with a can of spray paint and "painted" over the spots, without even opening the balcony door to ventilate.

The frame to our patio door crumbled. When the maintenance men came out to fix it, they threw all of the pieces onto our balcony and just left it there.

We've had several maintenance requests, and all have been poorly addressed. We have a friend that moved into one of the other buildings, and he says it's the same way.

The building is always dirty, the other tenants are disrespectful and loud, parking is a nightmare, and the hallways always smell like marijuana. The parking lot always has trash/vomit/random pieces of clothing in it.

The owners do not care about the people here. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless it was your absolute last resort.
