Wanda called from the business she stated that issue has been resolved. That the consumer moved in November 2, 2017.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/12) */
I'm writing in response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint (Case # XXXXXXXX). The recently outstanding service requests in Ms. [redacted]'s apartment have been completed and we apologize for the delay in completing the repair of the hole in the interior...

closet wall. This hole was cut for the planned installation of a water meter.
Ms. [redacted] did not fill out a complaint regarding missing personal property and to our knowledge, did not contact the police about personal property missing from her home. We will gladly cooperate with any investigation, as needed.
The Property Manager has reviewed Ms. [redacted]'s account and found that a correction was warranted, due to a recent change in rates, which should not have affected her lease rate. We have made the necessary changes to her account and there is currently no balance due on the account. Her security deposit will be refunded to her in accordance with her Lease Agreement (including Paragraph 26) and North Carolina State Law. Under normal circumstances, refunds like this are mailed to the former resident's forwarding address, if provided to the Leasing office. However, if she prefers, she may pick the check up in person from our corporate office. She will simply need to provide a valid photo ID in order to do so. It will be available for her no more than 30 days after the date of move-out.
In interviewing our service technician, we learned that he did pick up a toy doll in order to complete work in the apartment and when he did, the doll's head fell off. While we aren't certain which character the doll was, we would like to offer Ms. [redacted] a $25.00 gift card so she may purchase a new doll for her daughter. If she confirms her acceptance of that offer, we will make arrangements to provide that for her at the community's leasing office.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/08/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I appreciate the company taking responsibility for their wrong doings in this case because what happened was a fault on the company. I am satisfied with the results and will be picking up my deposit when available and $25 gift card. However, I will complete a follow-up if necessary.

Review: When I moved into this apartment community, I turned in a move in inspection sheet noting the damages to my apartment which included carpet and bleach stains. The office was closed so I dropped it through the mail slot. They lost my move in inspection sheet and charged me for carpet damages at move out, The carpet should have been replaced when I moved into the property. I wrote and spoke to the manager several times concerning this. When I was living in the apartment the glazing on my countertops, sinks, and bathtub started to hold stains and peeled. I called the rental office, the maintenance supervisor came and looked at it and had it re-glazed. I waited 5 days after re-glazing before setting anything on them or using my tub as I was out of town and it started doing it again. Everything I put on the countertops stuck and left and indention and anything that spilled held a stain. I contacted the rental office and spoke to the manager and told her that I didn't want them re-glazed because I would not be renewing my lease but that I would like it noted and for maintenance to come look at it because I didn't want to get charged for this. She assured me I would not be. He never called me to set up a time to do this and I was charged for this also. Lastly, I was told not to repair nail holes in my wall at move out but was charged for holes in my wall which makes no sense. They took my whole security deposit of $350 plus charged me $55 on top of it for a total of $405 dollars for things I had complained about since I have been there. I have had ongoing issues with this community since day one in which prompted me to move in the first place but still never was late on my rent one single month.Desired Settlement: I want my bill adjusted for these damages that I feel I should not have been charged for that were no fault of mine. If upper management would call the people who glazed my tubs they would see that there is an invoice for my apartment while I was living there for the same issues.
