On January 5th a walk around to point out related and non-related damage was performed with the representative of the damaged vehicle and a repair authorization was completed and signedAll parts were removed from the damaged areas for further inspectionJanuary 6th The Claim damage that
was indicated in the walk around was then submitted to USAA for reviewJanuary 11th USAA called and confirmed this vehicle was a total lossJanuary 26th Charles West Auto Sales the lien holder sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and damaged parts that were removed$is for a tow bill USAA paid to have the car tow to Collision works of Norman$is for the disassembly to discover damage was completed to find all damages per USAA’s request and was paid by USAA. USAA deemed the car a total loss even after the damages not related to the loss were removedWe can certainly empathize with the total loss situation and truly regret the lossWe regret not returning any missing items and are happy to pay for these missing itemsA check will be issued to the claimant for $and the expense for the rocker panelUSAA approved and paid the $and $so any amounts refunded would be required to be returned to USAA
