Review: Dear Revdex.com,Recently my car was painted at Collision Auto Body and Paint for a today of $5,100. When I received the car, it was not painted with the high quality paint the owner [redacted] told me he would paint it with and had very little to no clearcoat on it. There was black paint on the windows as well that one of my colleagues at another body shop wiped off with just a cloth. I feel this is misrepresentation of services offered for the price I was charged. In addition, throughout the process of painting my car one of the shop members told me he was installing lighting equipment in my car that I had bought and mailed to him and then keeping it for himself instead of honestly installing it in my vehicle. I want a reimbursement of the $200 worth of items stolen as well. [redacted], the owner of the shop also forged my name on an invoice saying I agreed to pay a higher amount than he originally offered the paint job for me. His lack of proper documentation was very unprofessional and created a lot of issues regarding proper payment for his services rendered. Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a full refund in a check for $5,300 (car painting cost plus reimbursement for stolen items) mailed to my address at [redacted] Ave [redacted] San Diego, CA [redacted]This will resolve my complaint.

Response:
Dear Revdex.com, [redacted] is making a false accusation. He never once came to our shop and make a complaint. [redacted] had a full paint job on his stock OEM car. After the paint was completed, [redacted] decided to add aftermarket body kits on his car, he was advice that additional charge would apply. Once the car was completed, the car was sitting at the shop for nearly over 6 months, he couldn't make the payment. On the last payment he wrote us a check along with a contract he sign (which he said we forged), he closed his bank account right after so check couldn't be cashed. I have everything all document along with his letters he wrote. The items he said we stole was all in his trunk when his vehicle left the shop.
