Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is the way Martin Lake wants it And I agree I signed a contract in a weak moment But, I still feel this is a very poor way to do business I feel the amount I have paid them should be sufficient, and a honorable business person would allow me to get out I don't believe they lost a dollar on me, and they are very greedy, uncaring, and border line dishonest I am sure I am not the first one in this situation, or will I be the last, but if enough people complain, maybe they can be restricted, if not stopped.Thank you Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We will not blindly close our complaint until [redacted] Dental has provided us the financial data at issue, and College Dental has agreed to [redacted] Dental's specific determination.

Tell us why here... RE: [redacted]  [redacted] came in to rent a camper from us in October. She did let us know that she was seeing roaches in the camper and we then contacted our pest control guy to come out and spray. We put her and her mother in a cottage for a night. She then went...

back over to the camper and said she was still seeing roaches. She asked if we had any other campers available and the one that she chose did need some repairs done before they could move in. We told her we could put her and her mother in a cottage while the repairs were being done. They stayed in the cottage for a week. We tried to do everything we could to satisfy her. When the camper was finished being repaired she moved over to it and said she loved it and everything was great! She came back into the office 2 days later and said the camper had bed bugs in it. We put some bed bug bombs out in there and also called the pest control guy out to spray. He said he did not see any bed bugs at all but did see a few roaches and said spraying the camper should take care of the problem. [redacted] still wasn't satisfied after he sprayed and asked for a refund. We had told her up front that the Martin Lake policy was that we did not do refunds and we do even have signs up stating that. When we are told by a tenant that we have any problems in our campers whether it be a bug problem or repair problem we immediately take action to the problem. If you have any further questions you can contact me at 228-[redacted].                                ... Thank you!

See attached.

As Mr. [redacted] has stated, he purchased a membership with Martin Lake Resort in 2005. The contract, which he and his wife signed, state, that they are responsible for maintenance fees, whether they use the facilities or not. MLR puts forth time, money and resources to maintain the facilities so that...

they can come whenever they choose. We have made numerous attempts to collect this debt and have given the [redacted]s ample opportunity to make payment. Mr. [redacted] was notified on 6-10-2015, and again on 10-9-2015, that if they did not submit some payment, that the account would go to a collection agency. His response was for us to, "do what you have to do." Mr. [redacted] complains that we never contacted him when he was with his wife. We set up a conference call on 8-18-2015 to discuss their options. The only time Mr. or Mrs. [redacted] contacted us, was after his account was sent to collections. After the account is turned over to a collection agency, it is no longer in our hands. There is no cancellation policy or termination in their contract. Mr [redacted] is under no obligation to pay the termination fee offered by the collection agency. However, he is responsible for maintenance fees for the duration of the contract, as per the contract.

This letter is in response to the concerns filed by Mr. [redacted] on behalf of his wife [redacted].  Please be assured customer service is important to College Dental Group and Orthodontics and we strive to ensure our patients are happy with all aspects of treatment.  It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] and his wife are dissatisfied with the services Mrs. [redacted] received.    We are aware of Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s concerns and are currently working with Mrs. [redacted]’s insurance carrier to resolve this issue.  Mrs. [redacted]’s insurance carrier has advised us that they have reversed/reprocessed several claims.  As such, this has changed her financial responsibility.   In summary,  We are complying with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s insurance carrier’s resolution to this issue and we respectfully request that the Revdex.com close this case at this time.      Respectfully, College Dental Group and Orthodontics
