Customer received their items on January *, 2016. At that time the customer inspected their items and signed the delivery paperwork
stating all items had been received and were in good condition. Customer contacted Coleman Furniture on February **, and advised Coleman Furniture that he was noticing the pieces comprising the sectional were not even and were sitting at different height. Customers issues were addressed through our warranty program and a replacement was ordered for the customer. As our warranty guidelines detail if a replacement item is supplied to the customer then the customer is responsible for replacement shipping costs for the item. As a courtesy we reduced the cost of the shipping by $to the customer but would not be able to waive the fee in its entirety as Coleman Furniture is proving a new item to the customer at Coleman's cost.Customer has indicated that he has a preference to keep the portion that has been deemed as being needed to be replaced. We are unable to accommodate the customer as that piece has been deemed defective and as such we would not be able to match up a corresponding piece to make the unit a whole

A manager from the business did call me yesterday to discuss this issueI was offered an option to refund the amount for hutch/buffetBut, I had to reject it, as they offered to refund only for hutch/buffetI have some pieces (table/chairs) of this dining set sitting here in my home and we intend to have the entire set to be deliveredI requested the business to either deliver the entire order or cancel the entire order and take away the dining table/chairs from my home and refund for the entire orderThat was rejected by the businessThe business advised that they will work on delivering the remaining pieces of the set (hutch/buffet) by end o May But, no guarantees were given in this regardI have no confidence in the business delievering on this timeline, as the earlier promised timelines were conveniently neglected without any notificationI was also offered some conpensation for the delay in processing this order (it's been months since I placed this order and my credit card charged)I did request detailed information in regards to the compensation be spelled out in an emailI haven't received any response yet from the business manager yet

We ordered a beautiful sectional on November *** from this companyIt is now currently February *** and still have not received itThe website claims it will take 4-weeksWe have been pushed back at least times with dates for the product to leave the manufacturer to be deliveredI guess their deal and discount really is too good to be true unless you want to wait half a year or longer to receive your couchToday I broke ties with this terrible company and ended the long hassleI work in customer service and this company does not portray good quality customer service or respect of the consumersSome people who work their do seem to have attitudes, I am tired of talking to managers and want the CEO to know how terrible our experience wasThey offered to compensate me $on a $1,couchReally? I am being forced to decide between keeping two broken/defective pieces and having no further costs or paying $and receiving of corrected pieces Coleman's point that I should have written down my issues at delivery is absurd as it's an internal defect, which was verified by the repairmen the they hired.
In a perfect world I would get my money refunded and they can have the couch, but being more realistic the least the company could do is not charge me for the replacement of a defective/broken couch

customers are given an estimated time of delivery as we not able to guarantee when items are going to be deliveredThe customer was advised multiple times of their estimated delivery time frame. After the item had arrived at the local delivery company the customer advised they did not want to wait until the date the delivery company could deliver to her homeAs per our terms and conditions that the customer agreed to when she placed her delivery we do not give any guarantees of delivery. Customer cancelled order and as such the cancellation fees do apply

This customer purchased a Saddlebrook Antique White Cocktail Table. The description of the item states that it is "Crafted with Poplar/Pine Solids with wood products. As it states wood products the item is not advertised as solid wood. The item is as advertised. The item has been verified with the manufacturer to be constructed of wood product as described . How can Coleman Furniture think the product was properly described when their meaning for Select Hardwood is not what a reasonable consumer would think? How was I supposed to know what their definition was? There is not glossary of terms on the website where I could have found out that information. I made an assumption that the word hardwood meant solid hardwood and not pulverized hardwood that is mixed with adhesives and formed into a shape. That is an assumption I am sure all consumers who are not part of the furniture industry would make and an assumption Coleman Furniture was counting on
Furthermore, if Coleman Furniture feels that manufactured wood has so many benefits then why not just label the table and chairs as “manufactured wood and veneers”? It is because consumers will not pay as much for as much for manufactured wood furniture and have come to associate furniture made with manufactured wood as being low quality Coleman Furniture purposefully used a confusing term in order to deceive me into making an incorrect assumption that the furniture is made of solid hardwood covered by veneers. This is why I feel I deserve a full refund. It does not matter that manufactured wood has the benefits claimed by Coleman Furniture. It only matters that the product description intentionally made me assume I was going to receive a different product than what I actually receivedI do not want a $refund for a $2,000+ purchase. I want a full refund and the product description to be changed on the website since it has now been brought to Coleman Furniture’s attention that the term “Select Hardwood” is extremely deceiving

The response from Coleman Furniture absolutely does not resolve my complaint I was advised by Coleman's representative that I would have the merchandise delivered in 4-weeks Not only did this not happen, if it were an estimate, Coleman would be outside of that window later forecasting that it would be late August before I received the merchandise As I stated in my complaint, I ordered the merchandise in good faith that it would be delivered in plenty time before I resumed academic duties I was told that I should have the merchandise before that I did notIf Coleman really meant that delivery would have been in 8-weeks (as the end of August would be), then I should have reasonably been informed that it would take that long, then, I could have gotten more information, shopped with another merchant and/or made a different consumer decision It is clear that Coleman wrongly advises customers of delivery dates because it is not able to keep up its pretenses It is bad business for Coleman or any other company to misinform customers and then charge customers for such

At this time I will retain legal counsel, does that statement look familiar from the original and first complaint that I filed with the Better Biainess Bureau? This is the same statement that was released from them before they sent the same original damaged merchandise the second timeI will not put the cart before the horse a third timeI have called this business over six times and I have sent numerous emails after the second deliveryMelissa H*** is screening my calls, I've left voicemails and she has not returned my call to this date, I will not beg this company to deliver brand new undamaged furniture that they have already been paid for in full.

We purchased two end tables and a coffee table from Coleman Furniture via their websiteThe purchase price of $was for furniture and assembly, shipping was freeUpon arrival of the furniture, all pieces had damage; that is, paint scrapes and tubular legs where bent or crushedSeeing damages and the poor manufacturing quality, we did not want it replacedColeman customer service told us that if we sent it back we would be charged for shipping in both directions plus a 25% restocking charge, per their multi-page refund policySo returning damaged furniture cost us $259.25, for shipping and restocking We found it strange that we had to pay a restock fee for furniture that should not have been sent out in the first placeWe talked with customer service multiple times but they stuck with their return policy, effectively netting them $in clear profit since they still have the furniture to send to another unsuspecting customerWe filed a complaint with the Revdex.comUpon reading the complaint, Coleman stated that if we would remove the complaint they would refund us another $We said we would and didHowever, they never refunded the $100! We called them twice, once months later and once months later to find out if they were going to stick to their part of the agreementBoth times customer service said it would be taken care ofNow we are months past the time of the refund agreement and they still have not refunded the $they promisedThe furniture we received was of poor quality and the customer service was even worse

From all the negative reviews I've read so far, this company appears to be in the practice of taking money for products online and not following through with delivery times as statedOur experience of them has been the sameWe ordered a couch from them online for ~$with a week estimated delivery dateA few days after the completed purchase that delivery time grew to week, then weeks, etcIt's now months later and we still don't have any product delivered and no idea when it will comeI have spoken with their customer service many times over the past months and kept being told that the product is coming and to be patientOur most recent conversation was because we had a scheduled delivery date and then they canceled it due to our products "not passing inspection." When I called to find out what the next steps are and timing, I get the same run around as before: we're ordering the product; no idea when it will come or when it will be delivered; just be patientWhen I asked them to cancel our order they said they will take a 25% restocking feeWhen I challenged that fee with their statement earlier of not having any product to restock, they then changed their story to it's a cancellation feeWhich is it Coleman? As a last resort, I'm now forced to dispute this charge with my credit card and make sure customers know the truth about ordering with themThey have a fake review barometer on their website that I was unable to login to to leave my real experience of them, not the fake star reviews that all resemble the same review structureHorrible companyWe'll never do business with them again
