[redacted] did Purchase to have his transmission rebuilt from us, The vehicle application in which he did request is an item that we build most often, and used is uncommon in our sales We only put a day warranty on transmissions purchased from us and installed by the customer due to the frequent lack of knowledge compared to a qualified service technician When purchased through our shop with installation from our technician's we offer a year warranty When [redacted] called and said the transmission did not work properly after his brother installed it and asking a few questions it was all too familiar to the same problem we have with individuals not installing them properly I had told them to bring it in and we would look at it for them When [redacted] and his brother came in, we quickly identified the converter hadn't been installed properly from the marks in the shaft, which means the fluid will not pump at all and the transmission wont perform a 100% His brother also mentioned he didn't flush out the cooling lines with anything other then an air hose Which means all the debris from the bad transmission now just got dumped into the rebuilt transmission which would also make the valve body hard to shift and perform correctly We went through the transmission for them at no cost I do believe I did have the paperwork ready for them, although when they came to pick it up, I wasn't present to give it to them, I needed to explain some of the issues My counter employees had asked them to comeback to talk to me and recive the warrant and parts description list that was installed in the transmission After trying to explain it to them several times before they just remained confused I can reprint the info and fax it into the Revdex.com if that would be easierAnd/or mail it to the customer

Customers agreed on price in May upon dropping off TransmissionAfter dismantling transmission, we notified them of a part it was going to need, that wasn't common in a rebuild, and would take some time tracking down either a good used one or new one. And we would have to either refund them
or if they weren't in a hurry we would find one in the days to come to honor the quote we gave them. And yes! It was super hard to find. They did not request a refund until the transmission was complete in mid September, and the one requesting the refund was not the same person we were dealing with from the day of purchase?? After the one time asking for a refund assuming it wasn't finished by the person whom we didn't originally talk to, but was going to bring the receipt from whom we did talk to, they immediately said they would come pick it up. We waited after hours for them, they never showed and we haven't heard from them since
