Review: On Jan.9,2015(Friday) I went to Cold Stone Creamery in Dover, DE to inquire about the price of a kids theme cake for my son's 8th birthday party. I spoke with the manager Mr. [redacted] and I told him what I wanted on the cake- the original date for the party was Jan.24,2015(Saturday). Mr. [redacted] write down my order on the cake form= chocolate cake, white butter creme icing, chocolate ice cream inside as well as Oreo pieces, and sprinkles. I choose the cake that cost $44.99 with a spider-man theme for an extra $5.00 totaling $49.99. Mr. [redacted] said that he would save the order form until next week Jan.15 when I came back to pay for my cake. On Jan. 15,2015 I went back to Cold Stone Creamery to pay for my cake, a young female was at the register. She looked for the order form but couldn't understand the handwriting, so she started to write it over- before she finished Mr. [redacted] came out to take over. I told him everything I stated on Jan.9,2015(Friday) but changed the date to Jan.31, 2015(Saturday). I paid for the cake and told Mr. [redacted] I would pick up the cake at noon on Jan.31,2015(Saturday). On Jan.31,2015(Saturday) I went to pick up the cake from Cold Stone Creamery in Dover, DE. Mr. [redacted] went to get the cake from the back and put it in a bag and I said thank you then left out. The party was at Xbos in Smyrna, DE it started at 2:00pm but we had to be there at 1:00pm. Once we went into our party room at 2:00pm we had 45 minutes to be in the room-the kids ate first and at the end they ate cake. upon cutting the cake I saw that it had yellow cake and hardly any Oreo s inside. I didn't have time to go to Dover until the next day around 1:00pm on Feb.1,2015(Sunday). When we arrived at the store my husband Jerry Butler spoke with Mr. [redacted] he stated he did not have the order form and that the cake wasn't made wrong. He then asked what did we want to make up for it, we asked what was our choices he said whatever we wanted. He said "No" to doing the cake over or a partial refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund due to his very unpleasant customer service, he was not willing to do anything to correct his make; being that he made the cake. I asked him for the corporate number he said there was none. He stated that we were not being truthful but he did not have the copy of the order form he used to complete the order.
