This is *** and I enrolled with CoinPayments about 6 weeks ago. Put money in the account and made 3 different transactions to ***, so I can work with this company. Made 3 attempts to deliver and all 3 timed out after 7 hours, not happy. I was told that CoinPayments wasn a good company to work with , not happy. I never got a call or email saying they were sorry or would work to resolve my issue.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/12/18) */
Hi ***,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sorry to hear about the inconvenience you've experienced. Unfortunately, with the information you've provided we can't comment about why it might have happened.
We will require more information about the transactions (TXIDs) so we can look into why the payments timed out.
Also, this is not the best medium to exchange information and solve technical problems.
Have you tried submitting a support ticket yet? We usually resolve tickets within 24hrs, so there's no need for you to have waited 6 weeks.
To have us look into your issue, we will need you to submit a support ticket with further information. Please ensure you go through both steps of the support ticket process while logged in to your CoinPayments account:
Step 1 - Go through the support wizard here:***
o At the end of the wizard you will be provided with a support code that is valid for 1hr and a link to create a support ticket on ***
Step 2 - Open a support ticket on *** using the support code provided in Step 1.
o We usually answer tickets within 24hrs.
Thank you for choosing CoinPayments and we look forward to resolving your issue!
Best Regards,
CoinPayments Team
Excellent UI/UX. One of the few solid companies from 2013.
I did payment using *** services. Transfer completed fine, but recipient did not get payments. I created customer support ticket, they sent me to recipient. Recipient did investigation and told me contact again to coinpayments, I contacted again using support ticket and they refused to accept my concern. They refused to investigate and return my payment back. Total amount has been spent is near 250 ***. I have no idea how to return payments, this customer is not accepting any issues, support is complex and very tricky, it is hard to get any correct solution with this customer.
I did multiple payments, few of them has been lost.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/02/21) */
Dear Sirs,
***Currencies and the *** Technology behind it are still in their infancy. Inexperienced users will continue to have issues as they learn how these systems work. We are not able to fix the error as the *** is immutable and customer funds are their responsibility (unlike a bank with third party intermediary rights). We are sorry that this user lost their funds and stress the importance of careful use of ***currencies as a form of payment.
It is not our responsibility to investigate buyer/seller transactions as we are merely a payment gateway software for processing. Like ***, if you do your taxes wrong, *** is not responsible for fixing it.
CoinPayments has one of the best customer support teams in the industry and response times of 2 days or less, unlike the industry averages approaching 2 months. The user received a prompt response customer support and did not find the response acceptable. Unfortunately, short of giving the user our own funds to fix their issue, we cannot fix the issue for them.
Sincerely,
CoinPayments
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(3000, 7, 2018/02/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
THis very vague answer which is telling that service is completely refused to understand customers issues. I know how it works it terms of *** technology, My transaction was successfully confirmed in *** and***, it were no issues and I provided full info in support ticket. But this payment gateway is completely refused to accept support tickets with fully described issues.
I'm completely disagree to accept that.
