here is my original complaint to the Revdex.com about this company

I paid $280 for an introduction to coding class for my 11 year old daughter in July 2019 for their fall classes which started end of August 2019. Shortly after I signed up and paid I contacted the business immediately by email to switch to a better time given since the time slot would no longer with our schedule. I was told (by email since they do not offer a phone number as a means of contact) that I would have to pay $80 in order to simply switch my timeslot. As a single mother, with one income the $280 was already hard enough to come up with and pay. I did not have $80 to pay in addition to the full tuition cost I had already paid. This request to move time slots so my daughter could take the coding class that I already paid for was made 4 weeks in advance to the class start date. I begged and pleaded and went back and fourth via email for help. They refused. Since I was unable to pay the charges and my daughter was unable to take the class for the designated time slot, I then disputed the charge with my Credit card company. They gave me a provisional credit. After 60 days, the company still refused to refund my tuition fees of $280 even though no services were rendered, and I was charged back the $280. In October 2019 they company finally advised they would allow me to switch the class with no fee but by then the class was half way over and I was told Id have to wait until the Spring semester starting in Feb 2020. When I went to register her and use the credit they said they would honor for the same intro class, to my surprise the class tuition went up from $280 to $395 and I was told (via email again ) that I would have to paid the $115 difference in tuition. I contacted them again and asked again to simply just allow my daughter to take the class and not make me pay the additional $115 they are now charging for the same class due to the circumstances and their unwillingness to resolve the matter when it began in August2019. They again refused, kept my $280 with NO services rendered.

here is my follow up response requested from the Revdex.com, I was not going to respond any further but since now I am receiving threatening emails from this company I sent this response...

Hello, I was not going to respond further in regards to this complaint because frankly I am not satisfied with the resolution. Although the company FINALLY decided to resolve the issue only after many countless attempts, begging and then coming to the Revdex.com with my concerns and letting the company know I did so. This issue started in August 2019 and was just given a resolution Feb 2020 after I had already spent more money on two other classes for my daughter to attend instead since Coding for Youth would not give me my funds back or allow me to switch classes. I would have much rather just gotten my funds back after this long. Once the company finally agreed to let me use my $280 credit months later they then tried to tell me for weeks I had to still pay an additional $220 since they changes their tuition prices. After countless emails (since again they don't allow phone calls) and arguing and condescending responses and after I told them I gave up and that they could just keep my money and that I had filed a complaint that is when they finally gave in. Well now my daughter is enrolled and she has taken 2 classes so far and has 6 left. Since I had not responded to the Revdex.com complaint and Harmony Bacons email, I have no received a threatening email telling me that if I do not respond that they will cancel my daughters class. I cannot believe a company could be so unprofessional and difficult over a $280 children's coding class. This response I am sure will get my child thrown out of their coding class and I will have lost my $280 hard earned money for being honest. I refuse to be threatened and I refuse to lie and tell the public that the issue was resolved properly because it was not. This caused me hardship and stress for months and to further add salt to the wound I am being threatened by the company for not getting my original complaint removed from the Revdex.com. Please see the email below from the company stating they will remove my daughter from the class if I do not respond. I will brace myself for being removed from the class but I think it is more important for other consumers to know how a customer can potentially be treated by this establishment. My child in the end is the one that will be punished for this and that is so very sad. I appreciate the company finally giving me the service I paid good money for but that was their responsibility not my right. A consumer pays for a service to a company and that company should honor what they promise. It is simply the right thing to do and basic business ethics and morality! All I wanted was to simply get the service I paid for and when that did not happen I wanted my funds back. again it took 6 months for a resolve and even the resolve they offered originally was for me to pay them an extra $220 on top of what I paid and it wasn't until I came to Revdex.com that they finally did what they should have 6 months ago, but now that I wanted my complaint to remain on this whole situation I am now receiving threats. Unacceptable. I paid for a coding class and it is their right to refuse service for voicing my honest opinion on how I was treated by them as a consumer? I am saddened by this and I in the end will be losing $280 and my daughter will have to be dropped from a class she actually says she loves. Thanks Coding for youth! Below is the email I was just threatened with.

The issue has been resolved. It was due to a mis-understanding. The customer is happily taking the class now.

Desired Outcome
