Number 1, The oily substance is Soap suds that I have used for years that I learned to use in college, if I still have a leak I will pull out my and use my electronic leak detector made by BacarackThe problem they have is they have under designed line set that was for the old system which was 1/for the discharge line and 5/for the suction lineAll discharge lines are warm to touchThis line was cold to touch which I felt the refrigerant was backing up into the condenserI told Mr C [redacted] this and I was screamed by his wife that their old unit worked fine on on the old systemThey never listened to meThe new system requires a 3/and a 3/line set and I can prove this from the manufacture literature and from piping chartsMr C [redacted] has not returned my phone calls or my text messagesThe last time I talked to First American they were pay for a a better contractor to go over my workLOL I know every contractor in this area, and they would be shocked if I told them what was going on with me

was 1/4 for the discharge line and 5/8 for the suction line. All discharge lines are warm to touch. This line was cold to touch which I felt the refrigerant was backing up into the condenser.
