Student left my house on July 16 and I am still waiting for payment. That makes it 10 weeks still no payment. They call, they promise and payment never comes!! I am not housing a student at this time, so payment is not a priority of homestay!! ***. You have to pay it forward by housing and feeding these students, then struggle to get paid.
They never pay me. It's been 2 months since the student return to her country. I keep calling but this person named Adrian just keep promising to pay by the friday but this is all lies. What to do with them? Is there any other way to get them pay us?

***; the students go back home and they never pay, they charge up front to the students and the host families never get paid, never answer messages nor respond to emails. You have to run after them for months in order to get paid, My last student left over two week ago and I am still waiting to be paid. Never again.
They don't pay on time. It takes them weeks to pay even after the students are long gone.
I hosted a student and have been waiting for payment for a month... after he left!!
. I am a Homestay provider. It's has been a month since I have had the student and they haven't paid me yet. Not only that but when I email to follow up no one answers, when I call to ask for a payment date, they tell me one day and it doesn't happen. They blame it on the bank.
When I called the second time they treated me with disdain and condescendence. I still have to receive the payment. I am hugely disappointed.
be careful with them they give students but they never pay you.
They never return, you call or when they do they promise you will receive your payment in a week but never happen
Had 5 students with them, out of all of them one student was paid on time The last student I was not notified of her special diet, tried to accommodate as best as I could. She had left in November of 2018 and not yet had been paid, it has now been 2 months. I can never get through the accounts payable department, and I have to call someone else to try to get answers. There are no definite answers, they will tell you anything to get you off the phone, broken promises on payments.
I have attempted to contact them for payments they owe me for students since last June 2018. It's now January 11, 2019. They never pay on time and do not call you back.

I have been a Homestay provider for over 30 years and have had many wonderful students from many other great and reliable agencies. The student I have now through
C& M Agency is also a great guy and he has been here since September. His family paid up to December for his homestay fees and C&M has my direct deposit information to pay the fee on the first of the month but every month they have an excuse for their late payments. I still have not received my fee for December and every time I call it's another excuse. Now they do not even answer the phone when they are called. Also, I see that some of the "Good" reviews are written by personnel who are working in the company. I find they are also giving bad comments about the Homestay providers, don't believe their ***, it's all a cover up to make themselves look good. ***

Its been over 1 month and still I haven't been paid. They are constantly telling me i'll call you back and they never do. now there are ignoring my phone calls. stay away from this agency.
This homestay Michael K. did not provide the services that was required. We had complaints from the student that her meals were no provided. Most of the time she has to cook by herself. The place was always messy and was rarely cleaned. The student was in fact placed in the neighbours house and the apartment smells of cigarette smoke. We have to partially refund the student for the services not rendered therefore this homestay was penalised and the funds returned to the student. We considered this matter close therefore no more contact was necessary.
. I am still in contact with the student. She enjoyed our Homestay and we cooked for her everyday. Her school was to far away so she has to switch Homestay. ***. I would oath that what this *** women is saying ***. She is a previous family friend. ***. The student we had is wonderful and we continue to speak. Our house is clean on a regular basis. Student are responsible to clean there own rooms. We do not smoke inside. ***. ***.
We have emails and text messages, as well as pictures taken of the condition of the student's accommodation sent to us by the student. We hold the highest regards to ensure students' safety and comfort. We have to ensure that the homestays we employ, provides the services to the students. With this situation, the services was not rendered and therefore a refund was issued to the student for services not rendered. And therefore partial payment was withheld for the student. C&M considered this issued closed and we will no longer respond to further comments by the said homestay.
The first red flag I noticed about this agency was on the timing of their payment to homestay hosts. I found it odd that they would normally remit payment to hosts at the end of third week. Although I didn't ask why, Miguel G. (one of their housing coordinators) was quick to defensively justify the delay by citing difficulties in transferring funds from the parents to student and eventually to the hosts. Seriously? You would give this kind of excuse in this day and age of modern technology? But since it was my first time confirming homestay accommodation through an agency (I've always dealt directly with parents, students or guests), I thought that was the norm, so I ignored the red flag.
The second red flag was when they didn't bother to inform me on the late drop off of the student. The expected time was 9:00 PM but we waited until 2:00 AM. Though a delay is usually expected, they could have at least given us a heads up. So when they wouldn't show up at the agreed time, I began to get concerned as to whether this agency is legit, and decided to look them up on the internet. And lo and behold, all but 1 bad reviews is what I found.
So I contacted them advising I would still accommodate the student when he does arrive but requested them to find another homestay provider immediately as I no longer feel comfortable working with them after seeing the bad reviews. To cut the story short, they eventually moved the student to another homestay provider and promised to credit the prorated payment to my account shortly. Not sure what they meant by 'shortly' but they said that last week and I still haven't received that payment.
The student stayed at my place for a couple of nights and had the chance to bond with us and other students. I heard he was sorry to leave our place and although his new homestay is closer to his school, he is not really happy at all.
they are so messed up and do not know how to handle the business ...they charge homestay parents up front and don't pay the host on time and always very late to pay .
This host has been paid in full as per the agreed schedule even though the service provided to our student was mediocre. We will not use her again.
I'm doing this job for long time and never had any problems with any other agencies.
Even the student who came through c&m agency and the parents love me because of being so good with their child and been responsible for what they asked.
And also I'm not the only one who gave the bad rating.
I am new to homestays and I have been dealing with this agency for 6 months now. I find their service to be great.Their staff are polite and resolve any issues promptly. I have no issue with them about payments. We always received the payment within the time indicated. They are quick to assist when we have issued with students. They have many students and our rooms are always occupied by them.
. They gave us a student and when there is a problem with their student, it's so hard to deal with them. They don't pay us, the student already leave and they still not pay us.
I'm a Homestay Host Provider and it was C&M Homestay Agency who provided me the ESL students. It was very difficult to follow up with them on the homestay payments. It takes a month or more for them to pay what is due to host family.
Before this said-agency post any comments on their website, they should learn how to check and balance all of the information.
