Mr [redacted]: A personal acquaintant (friend) (20 yrs)
and I spent the summer off-roading + RC Cars. Almost
everyday we'd R.C. about 3 month in we noticed the
1980 Toyota 4x4 off-road rock crawler was having lots
of mechanical issues. #(1) The timing chain. (2) Battery
(3) Engine was running rough. (4) Power steering pump
leaking. I offered to fix it for him at a minimal cost on
payment plan as he had very little money I said it's OK
(I trust you, I know you'll pay me.) We agreed on a price
of parts + labor of $550.00 for the timing chain. In the
process [redacted] + I decided to dress the leaky pump, which
brought the total $632 total to $657.00. Add oil + filter
Total now $687.00. [redacted] paid his bill in small increments.
Sometime on suneday when we were off-road he would give
me cash towards bill. I then would come in the office on
Monday + document his payment. It took a month, but the
bill was paid. Two weeks after he picked up the 1980 Toyota
post repair. I recall him saying that his truck never ran better
because of the extra adjustments that were made during the
repair and [redacted] at Aloha said price was fair. We did notice
the steering had a leak but [redacted] + I noted that it is the
"More" on the power steer not the pump leaking and I offered
him to bring the truck back to my shop so I can repair it. He
said he would. He never did. That week [redacted] reported to me
he was having trouble with his A.D.D mental disorder, so I
decided to give him some space + time to work it out. He
walked into my shop on or around the 15th of Sept @ 5:30 PM.
He did not look well his eyes had a crazed look to them. He
sat down next to my desk + asked "why haven't you been to
my house?" with that same crazed look, I told myself I would
be nice to him no matter what he does. He asked me to return
some RC Car tires + I did so politely. Then he asked, "so are
you coming by the house tonite" This was about 5:30 PM on a
weekday, I said no. I was not able to come by tonite. He starred
for a minute + stood up + said "well I'm going to the Iron Fist
Brewing + Bar where he has had several problem w/ other patrons.
Said OK see ya later. then I get this complaint at Revdex.com??
Until [redacted] got the letter, we had no idea what in the world the
complaint was about? Or from who?
I treated [redacted] with the best service + price you can get anywhere
I normally get $1300 for job like the one I did for [redacted]. He got $680.
All the parts at wholesale, labor 50% off, I have all the receipts. He has
in his possession a work order he signed + payed $680.00 total
yet he claims he paid me $970. It is untrue, its all on the work order.
Ask him for a copy of I will send you a fax of it.
I spoke with a mutual friend [redacted]) he told me
[redacted] has a history of making phony claims against people, cases on file
