Club Pilates

I signed up with Club Pilates Emerson and I have been taking pilates classes. On November, I asked one of the representative to freeze my account because I was going on vacation. After one month or so I tried calling the business to cancel the service. I was calling day and night to try to reach someone from the studio and left a message several times. Noone picked up the phone nor returned my phone call. Then one day I receive a bill saying my account is past due. I thought my account was froze. So tried calling them but noone answers again. I had to go in person yesterday to see what’s going on then I was finally able to talk someone. In person, I explain the situation then the lady who worked at the moment says she will ask the manager to call me back that day but noone called me back again. The day after, I called several times again, but as usual noone answers phone. And I physically went there again to talk to someone. The lady by named Katie (manager) after listening to everything that I said, I have to pay the bill and not wanted to even listen what happened to me. I called billing and they say I have to take care this issue with the studio. I explained to the manager several times about what happened. she doesn’t want to admit making a mistake on November about freezing my account just kept saying they didn’t receive the communication then I need to pay. If I don’t pay, the bill will be sent to collections. Also, I asked to cancel the account, she said by policy I have to wait 30 more days to cancel the account which means my bill is keep getting bigger without getting any services. I cannot pay for the services not received. I also asked what else I can do to resolve this matter and she doesn’t want to admit their initial mistake of not freezing account kept saying just nothing can be done. Please help me resolve the matter. I want to avoid the bill going to collect
