customer is flushing Tampons and Baby wipes which are considered non flush able in our business because of the constant clogging issues they cause. does not mean they will not clog the pipes. We have constant issues with customers who refuse to stop flushing these types of products especially the wipes because they become addicted to using them and cause they cause constant re occurring issues. Customer says issue started following day but decided to call a week later. Doesn't make sense. I never refused to come back out but explained to the customer that if we found the same types of products clogging pipes there would be an other charge. he became very angry and started cursing at me over the phone as I tried to once again explain to him that we do not cover wipes and tampon blockages. he said he would call someone else instead. We do not warranty these types of products being flushed it is at "your own risk" if they continue to use them. They are not paper and do not break down. they become very heavy when wet and consistently clog pipes. We do give warranties and can prove it on things like oil buildup, hair clogs and roots growing into pipes. Customer had no problem that day with paying us and the fact he was not receiving a warranty and understood that it was his fault or a family members for flushing these types of products. Simply check with Nassau county sewer and drain dept. or google stories of the issues that baby wipes are causing in the county.
