Thank you for bringing this to our attention We have been in communication directly with Mr [redacted] within the past week regarding this issue Although [redacted] requires that a [redacted] watch be serviced when sent in for certain types of polishing and/or engraving, we were able to have the [redacted] service department agree to only re-stamp the back of the watch case without having to perform servicing on the watch movement, as requested by Mr [redacted] We informed Mr [redacted] that we can have his watch restamped by [redacted] and that we will cover the cost Mr [redacted] has agreed to have his watch sent back to [redacted] for the restamping He has already dropped off the watch at our store and his watch was sent out to the [redacted] service center last weekWe presume that Mr [redacted] 's watch caseback will return in better condition than when he originally purchased it second hand as a pre-owned watch from a third party, or at least in better condition than when he originally brought it to us for polishing.While we do not fully agree with Mr [redacted] 's assessment of the situation, we hope that Mr [redacted] will be pleased with his watch upon it's return from the [redacted] service centerWe are committed to customer satisfaction and strive to take the necessary steps to ensure that our customers are happy and fully satisfied with our products and servicesWe hope that this matter will be fully resolved once the prescribed service is completed on the watch by [redacted] and returned to Mr [redacted] Best regards, [redacted] ***
