As per the terms of lease, Section 11-"SECURITY TYPE SYSTEMS: Owner employs certain measures to protect Owner's Facility referredto as "Security Type Systems." The operation or failure of any type of Security Type Systeminstalled by Owner shall not change Owner's aforementioned liability for any type of lossincurred by Occupant and shall in no way release Occupant from his/her obligation of insuringhis/her Personal PropertyThese Security Type Systems may include, gates, electronic gatecodes, individual door alarms, and lightingCheck with the Facility Manager for specific systemsat this FacilityHowever, Occupant a(!knowledges that these Security Type Systems are for theprotection of the Facility as a whole and not the individual SpaceThese Security Type Systemsmay not operate properly in the event of a mechanical, electrical, or software failure securitytype systems should not be relied on to provide additional security for the Personal Property or the Occupant when using the Space."Unfortunately, we had mechanical failure and we've had to replace the whole gate systemAt this time, we've ordered the new gate and it is being manufactured to the right specifications forthe facilityThis is not a fast process but we anticipate everything to be up and running withinthe next 4-weeks.As a courtesy, we've credited this customer month rent for the inconvenience.Sincerely,Brad [redacted] Director of Operations Prime Storage Group

Consider this email my response in accepting the offer as disgusted as I am with it , it is better than arguing and dragging the issue outAlso consider this a dissatisfaction of services received by Clifton Park Self Storage as they KNOWINGLY MISLEAD their customers by stating they are " in the process of fixing" the gate that allured me to the security of their facility initiallyPlease note that they have been "in the process of fixing the gate " for MONTHS now.
