Hired to do my pool resurface and complete deck remodel--It took much longer than contracted for---they tried to increase my contract after the deck was ripped up- and the overall quality of installation was substandard that I had to demand they come back and do correctly--Would definitely not use this company again---Honesty and integrity are not their 1st priority--$$$ are.
This review is patently false. This customer's job started & completed on-time, and any reference to quality relates to substandard work done previously by a different contractor, and was repaired during our construction project. The customer approved the finalization of the project (which came out exceptional), and we 100% dispute this completely false review.
I am not the type of person that posts negative reviews unless I feel truly insulted by lack of professionalism and quality. To the public I say this, the response to my negative rating by Cliffs Pools is a flat out *** There were never any other pool contractors that even stepped foot on my property. Bottom line is they cut corners to save time and money and I demanded they come back to repair. If you see the reviews of Cliffs Pools, you will see that any negative reviews are responded to as false or a *** They flat out call their customers *** That does not only make them unprofessional, it makes them down right despicable lacking a decent moral compass. Your home is your biggest investment, and I made the mistake of using them. If I could save 1 person an unpleasurable experience, it was worth it.
1. A review of our reviews and hundreds of written testimonials clearly demonstrate our customer service, professionalism and workmanship are consistently excellent and is easily documented. We enjoy over a 99% customer satisfaction level as we service over 1,000 customers annually.
2. The homeowner contracted both for pool and deck renovations! The pool renovation was started timely and completed on time. The homeowner inspected the entire job and approved all work prior to making final payment on the pool renovation project.
3. The deck renovation was also started on time and competed on time. In fact, the homeowner was provided several additional services not contracted or paid for which were performed as a courtesy, this can also be documented.
4. Upon final deck project inspection only (2) minor imperfections at border were identified by the homeowner both were adjusted as requested at no additional charge and full payment was made, see attached approval.
This was a comprehensive pool and patio renovation and any person having an opportunity to see it would be very surprised that any homeowner would not be extremely happy with the outcome. As previously stated, this review is simply unjustified.
Cliff's pools and patio were professional and honest people to work with. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would recommend them to anyone doing pool or patio renovations! Everything was explained to me from start to finish. From getting the proposal from CJ to speaking to Tom, the supervisor everything was spelled out and the process went smoothly!
The company has failed to uphold their warranty.
In May of 2014 we had our pool recoated. The Quartzscapes coating came with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against failure of the coating. In November 2017 we noticed a bare patch on the bottom of our pool where the coating had peeled off.
We spoke to Cliffs ans found out that yes, the patching would be covered. We also obtained a quote for refinishing the entire pool again. We informed them in January that we wished to have the pool patched.
Come March. we had not heard any further from Cliffs. Brandon at Cliffs requested that we resend pictures - I texted pictures on April 5th 2018. May 1st I asked for an update and was told that they would try to schedule he repair the next week but had been behind schedule because of the rain.
It is now July 23rd with no further word and no response to text messages.
After little to no response for 8 months - step up and refinish our pool as an apology for your extreme failure.

On 11/16/17 this customer notified us that a small area on the surface came off. Homeowner was advised to send photos for review. Upon receipt it was determined that this repair would be performed under the warranty.
We notified customer we would make this repair at no charge on 11/21/17. Homeowner was also offered the option to re-surface pool at a discount if desired. The customer indicated they would think about it and get back to us. On 4/4/18 customer visited our office to advise they would like us to make the repair per warranty. Customer was advised again repair would be made at no charge.
Unfortunately, an administrative error resulted in a delay to send formal approval form for the customer to approve and sign to authorize repair. This form (see Attached) was sent to homeowner on 7/28/18 and office called customer to verify receipt and indicate we would schedule the repair as soon as authorization was returned. We have not received the approval to date and no complaint is justified as we are fully prepared to make warranty repair at no charge to the homeowner. No charge repair will be performed within 30 days of receipt of customer approval form.

Received offer to do patch as originally stated 4 months ago before being ignored by company.
After being ignored and forgotten by Cliff's for 4 months we wish them to resurface our pool so it matches as an apology for their failure.
They had 4 months warning to prepare for a small warranty repair then completely forgot about us and ignored texts for updates.

As the manufacturer warranty specifically states, "the replacement material, for only the area of failure". (Suppied by customer to you).
Since sending the homeowner approval form to sign to receive the free warranty repair, we have called the customer on the 28, of July, the 4 of August and again today the 6 of August to secure approval form and schedule warranty repair.
Again, the complaint is unfounded as we have made every effort to comply with the manufacturer warranty. We will be happy to make the repair within the 30 days of receipt of repair approval form.
As a final note no surface manufacturuer offers a complete resurfacing due to one small area to be repaired. This of course is not an option for the customer.

After 4 months of being forgotten and ignored all the company has offered is the original repair of the defective area. An oops - "you slipped through the cracks" direct quote - is the extent of their effort to make things right.
After giving my credit card details and they informing me they would be there on Saturday , they made zero efffort to arrive
They made no effort to contact me or my tenant so they wasted my time. They do not care
Do not waste consumers time if you have no interest in performing the job
Our Service manager has contacted the homeowner and resolved the issue. Homeowner said he would retract the Revdex.com complaint.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
