Repair of vehicle was not done correctly and was done by this business with no licensed mechanicState of Michigan Secretary of State agent verified I purchased a used engine and hired Cleveland street auto to remove and replace my engine in my chevy plow truckThe engine was removed and the used engine installedThere were many items not connected or were not done correctlyThese items included the drive shaft bolts falling out and drive shaft fall on "A" frame, exhaust not connected and leaking into cab, fuel line at fuel injector was damaged and leakingThe fuel injector from my old engine was not returned to when I requested itThe junk yard injector was used on the truck and had multiple issues which cost additional money to repair by a certified mechanic
Poor Repair resulting in additional engine damage I took my wife's Jeep Cherokee into Cleveland Street Auto Repair to have head gasket work done When we went to get it, it wasn't finished and there was a young man working on it with a bad attitude and very unprofessional that I observed taking short cuts I made the co-owner "***" aware of the issues About a week after we finally got it back I heard a noise and took it back "***" listened to it in the parking lot and without investigation said it was alternator chatter Then weeks later it was back in the shop with a rod or rod bearing issues From what I understand is there was trash in the engine likely from the head gasket work that caused the major issue It has now been in his shop for over a month and he has told me repeatedly it would be finished by the end of the week It has now cost me additional money
