Paid 2 payments up front, the company showed up one time only. But once the second payment was received they never returned. They promised a full return of payment and claimed they had mailed me a cheque, which I never did receive. I have not received any communication since then.
Company does not answer phone calls nor emails. They have not showed up to remove snow / salt. I have had several complaints from my tenants that the snow is accumulating and it is not being removed.
I would like a refund for the second half of the season.
We have a record of service for your property with 15+ service visits. I would be happy to discuss this matter with you further.
I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They only visited the property 5 times maximum. I do not believe this business is reputable. I tried to call and messange and email many times and they were always unresponsive.
If you'd like to discuss your record of service in more detail, I would be happy to work things out with you if you call me at the number I previously provided you with.
Contacted company in November to clear snow from a tri-plex we own. Paid $325 deposit via etransfer. Company showed up a couple of times - once they cleared the neighbours driveway and not ours. Asked them to confirm via text whenever they cleared snow or salted driveways/sidewalks. promised to do this and never did. In January they wanted the second payment of $325 which was paid by etransfer as well. They have never been back since.
Refund of payment since promised service was not provided.
I hired this company to preform snow removal for the year at my elderly mother's house. The company dose not show up and they are not fulfilling the contract they gave me.
I want a refund of the entire amount of$600
Signed contract for snow removal service at *** place as a seasonal contract split I to two payments. First $300 paid Nov 2018. Very little snow wih no follow up. Contacted Jan 2019 indicating that a mistake was made for the second installment of $300. Should have been Jan 1 or Feb 2. I agreed to pay earlier than the invoice.Since that date I have sent a number of emails regarding services not performed. The last email sent Feb 15.. told that I was to have been on the 14th pm service schedule and that they were sorry.. it would be done on the 16th. They did indicate that they were having pics taken after each service.. I asked for the pic on the 17th with no response
. He should refund at least $300 of my $600 payment as services were not completed.
We have a record of service for you with over sixteen different visits where a contractor was paid to handle your account/property.
If you wish to discuss the matter in further detail, I am willing to speak with you over the phone, at a time that works for you.

We signed up a contract with snow bros for snow shoveling services during the winter season (from Nov 19th, 2018 to April 15th, 2019) and so far we have paid the full amount of the fee.
Since November, there were a couple snow storms and snow bros has been very unhelpful in meeting the contract duties.
1. They would never answer our calls for any urgent need of removing snow/ice.
2. We have to write multiple emails to them to come for a service, but they never come on time to remove the snow.
3. For the past three months, they probably came fewer than 5 times, and they would never clean up the driveway beyond the sidewalk which makes our cars impossible to get out. Not sure why we hire someone to clean only half the driveway?
4. There was a winter storm on Feb 6th, leaving massive ice on the driveway, we tried to contact them many times but no reply. It was super slippery and we are having huge liability risk if anyone fall in front of our house. We have to clean up the sidewalk by ourselves. However, we still tried to contact them, hoping them to help us remove or salt the remaining of the driveway. They did send someone on the night of Feb 8th, who tried to scrape the ice but failed and left within 10 mins, without salting. The ice is still there and the whole delayed process makes it impossible for us to remove now. We did have camera in the front door that could show they leave quickly without doing any meaningful work.
5. The only time they are very active is when the 2nd half of the payment is due. Originally, they said the second half payment isn't due until Feb 2nd, 2019. But at the beginning of January, they started to send daily emails asking for the payment, with the revised due date of Jan 15th. Ever since the 2nd half payment is paid, they are very slow in any responses.
6. We referred them to our friend and they are experiencing the same thing as us. No calls were ever answered, snow was never cleared on time and they have to clean up by themselves as well even though we have paid them the whole season.
7. They have been hiring contractors from *** to do the work for them, and on Feb 10th, we have someone knocking on the door asking us if we are using snow bros and we said yes. Then they stated that snow bros found them on *** and asked them to do the snow shoveling for their clients. But the contracts NEVER GET PAID!!!!! The contractors are seeking help from us to chase after snow bros for their money. *** They are earning money without doing anything, without providing services and for the rare stuff their contractors did for them, they don't pay them!
We are very annoyed so far by the "services" they provided and the resistance we got when we tried to contact them. We wanted to have snow removal services because we are busy at work and having no time to deal with it. But now we have to clean up the snow all by ourselves!
We hope to have money back and we want to terminate the contract with Snow bros.
We signed a contract for snow removal between the dates November 9, 2018 to March 31, 2019 with Snow Bros Inc. for the agreed upon price of $450 for the contract length. Half of the price, $225 was paid by e-transfer on November 9,2018 and the balance of $225 was e-transferred on January 7, 2019.
After the first major snowfall on November 17th, Snow Bros did not show up to remove snow. Their excuse when contacted was a problem with their new contractors.
They removed light snow fall amounts twice after that.
They did not remove snow after the major snowfall on January 28th. We received a warning letter from the City of Kitchener to shovel or else face a sizeable fine. We contacted Snow Bros about this and they asked for a picture of snow.
We had to shovel ourselves so as not to be fined.
We have many, many emails with empty promises of service but Snow Bros have been negligent in their service.
We asked for half of our money back. This has been promised at a date no later than April 1st. We do not believe we will see this money.
Snow Bros Inc. has also sent an email to us on January 18, 2019 asking if we would like them to do yard and lawn maintenance this year for the price of $800. ***. They have no idea the size or scope of our property yet gave us a cost, sight unseen.
We are asking for our second payment made to Snow Bros Inc. on January 7th, 2019 in the amount of $225. to be refunded to us. This amount will be used to pay for a legitimate company to shovel our snow.
We have a record of service for your property with numerous fulfilled service visits. I was very surprised to see this complaint. I would be happy to discuss this matter with you further.
We did have some staffing issues during the second half of your season and are prepared to issue you a partial refund.
You can call me directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Paid half up front in November for multiple properties. They only showed up once, at only two out of four properties. Paid second half in January, but did not receive a receipt, despite a phone message and an email. During February, sidewalks were never shoveled to a bare condition. Half the sidewalks weren't even touched. Repeated phone messages were not answered. Many emails, with pictures of snow covered sidewalks and driveway were ignored, or replied to with excuses.
On Nov 28, 2018 we contracted snow removal services with this company, and provided a 50% downpayment. Since the beginning of the contract they have never been able to keep their service terms in the contract:
"Snow removal includes:
Salting of all walkways, driveways, porches, and sidewalks
Clearing of snow from all parking areas, parking lots, etc.; salting of same areas
Removal of snow, after every 2 inches of accumulation, from driveway
Daily check-ups to ensure nothing has accumulated throughout the night"
They did send some third party contractors to remove snow for 2-3 times, but it's often not timely and I had to do the job myself several times.
On Feb 6, after the freezing rain and snow, no removal service. I have been emailing requesting service and getting replies that claimed the contractors had done the work - the fact is the work is never done - I have taken pictures as proofs. The ice formed because of no timely snow removal and now it is rock solid, hard to remove and even worse and more dangerous than a heavy snow.
As of now (Feb 10) my sidewalk, driveway and porch are still covered by rock solid ice and remain a hazard to my family and pedestrians. If anyone falls and get injured, who is going to be responsible? I send my concerns to the company and they never actually addressed it. I'm very worried and will try to do the removal again myself or hire someone reliable to do the job.
I'd like to request a refund of the service fees paid, because I did not get the service promised in the contract, and the communication with the company is dragging and cannot result to a resolution of the problem.
I paid $225 upfront for half of the season (Dec 1 to Feb 15). The service promised in the contract is not kept and I had to do the job myself several times: "Snow removal includes: Salting of all walkways, driveways, porches, and sidewalks Clearing of snow from all parking areas, parking lots, etc.; salting of same areas Daily check-ups to ensure nothing has accumulated throughout the night" Given they did send someone to remove the snow 2-3 times, and the avg cost of each service is $30 according to ***, I'd like to request a partial refund of $125.
I have a record of service for you of over fifteen different dates. Additionally, you didn't start complaining until mid February of 2019, and seemed pleased until then.
I'm wondering why this is the case, and how accurate the accusations really are.
If you wish to discuss the matter in further detail, I can be reached at: XXX-XXX-XXXX.
A contract was established between myself and Snow Brow whereby Snow Bros would remove snow from my driveway and walkways after 2" of accumulation. Snow Brows failed to honour this contract and after repeated calls and promises to remediate, never did. I asked for a full refund since no work had been done and was never sent the refund and Snow Bros stopped responding to any of my communication.
A full refund for the upfront payment of $400.
I was looking online for snow removal services on November 16th, 2018. I found an ad on ***, with a website and also checked them on ***. There were no bad reviews so I contacted them by email. *** and ***/*** were the two contact people and did all the discussions thru email. The address posted for them was *** St, Elora.
Phone Number XXX-XXX-XXXX.
They sent a contract for $1500 for the season. half right away and second half due Jan 15,2019.. which I signed and emailed back with an e- transfer for $750.00. I had other quotes for my property and the price was the same, as I am a corner lot with 200 ft of sidewalk and a big driveway with two exits.
We didn't really get any snow or ice.. they came twice and salted, and shoveled my sidewalk only. Jan 15th the second half off the contract came due and it had snowed, they came and did a half job.. saying they were having problems with their contractor, etc. I paid the second half and have not seen them. we have had a lot of snow.. I've been emailing and calling. He only responded by email, and no response at all for the last week when there has been a lot of snow and ice. Nothing in the contract was properly fulfilled. I asked for a refund minus $200 which I felt was more than generous and since then no response at all.
***
*** in trying to search for a proper address I have come across several as well as another phone number, but nothing concrete ***
since not hearing back and figuring I was *** I went thru any correspondence, invoices and the contract to find out as much as I could. It wasn't til then I found the differing information.
I doubt I will ever see my money or any service, but maybe this will save some other people.
My last email I asked for a refund minus $200 for the couple times they came. so $1300.00. I have heard nothing back from them since and I have emailed them two more times just to see if they would respond.
1. We have a record of service for you of sixteen different occasions, so I don't find it fair or reasonable for you to be claiming otherwise. I'd be happy to send you the dates that we have on file for you.
2. In regards to a difference of address, we have multiple locations where we hire subcontractors from. I would assume this to be what you are referencing.
3. If you would like to rectify this situation with me, I am willing to work with you. Please give me a call at XXX-XXX-XXXX, and we can go from there.
A person named ***/*** advertised on *** as Snow Bros property maintenance. They looked really professional and gave us their business number and it's copy it's copy. Also he sent us a contract, revised it upon request and asked for email money transfer of 200 dollars flat tax exempt. When we sent him the money, he said he will come but never came for any shovelling. He is not picking up the phone or answering his emails.
We wish to get our money back. We have not received any service
I am very surprised to see that you are claiming no services were rendered. We gave you a very good deal of $200.00 for the entire season for snow removal, and we went above and beyond to service your property to your satisfaction, but for some reason you were never satisfied. You were constantly arguing with me and I was forced to send multiple contractors back which cost our company money.
If you would like to discuss this matter further, I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am very dissatisfied with the response. I was surprised to see an email from Revdex.com after such a long time. I had given up all hope that the owner of this business will ever reply. When we found his ad on *** we agreed to give him $200 to shovel the snow after talking to him over the phone. On the phone, he seemed to be a genuine person. However, after we sent the money through etransfer, we never got the services. Not even once did anyone come to shovel. I contacted him through email and phone calls. In the beginning he responded and said we will come. However, when it got too late and everyone's snow got shoveled except ours, I was very worried that we might get a fine from the city. We tried to contact him so many times, but he never responded. He stopped receiving the phone calls. It seemed that he vanished into thin air. *** He is now responding and saying that I argued with him. I disagree with everything he is saying. I request him to please refund our money as he did not offer us any service. We had paid our neighbors who had helped us in that time of need.
This is certainly not the case. ***
When you signed up, it was nearing the end of the winter season. We provided you with discounted rates, and worked with you in every way that we possibly could.
At this point in time, we won't be offering you a refund, as services that were paid for were more than done.
If you still wish to discuss the matter, kindly give me a call at my listed contact number.
I hired Snow Bros to provide snow removal service for the full winter season. The contract states that their snow removal service includes the salting of driveways, sidewalks, porches, and walkways, as well as daily check-ups to ensure that nothing has accumulated over night. The cost was $500 for the full winter season, but they gave me a $50 discount as I am a wheelchair user. I paid $250 upfront on November 8, and the other $200 on January 15. Prior to January 15, there had only been one major snowfall, which was on November 15. Nobody showed up at that day to shovel my driveway. I emailed them on November 16 at 2:50 PM to ask if I could expect that somebody would be by to shovel. I received no response, so I sent another email at 4:57 PM asking if they received my previous email. *** finally replied at 7:37 PM stating that they hired a new guy the week before, and he was just finding out that he didn't show up at multiple places. He came later that night. Fast-forward to January 15, when I received an email from them asking for payment for the second half of the season. At this point there had only been the one snowfall, and even though nobody initially showed up to shovel that time, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and make full payment for $200. Later that week, on January 19, we had our second major snowfall of the season. On January 20, I emailed *** at 12:20 PM asking if I could expect that somebody would be by to shovel the driveway that day. Nobody came to shovel, and I did not receive a response until the following day (January 21) at 2:52 PM, when *** replied with an apology saying that they had been having some problems with their contractors, and that he would rectify the situation by sending their most reliable guys to my address. They still never sent anybody out to shovel though, so my driveway was still a mess from the snowfall 2 days previous. I immediately replied to *** at 3:36 PM and I told *** that I was unhappy, and that his failure to respond to my email for over 24 hours was on him, not on his contractors. He did not reply to this email, so I sent another follow-up email on January 22 at 12:12 PM asking him to please send somebody. Again, I received no response and nobody came. I sent another email to *** on January 23 at 9:06 AM imploring him to please send somebody. I received no response. I found their phone number online and left a voicemail message, and received no response. So, I decided to text the phone number at 1:10 PM, and *** finally replied saying that this is the first message he got from me. He finally sent somebody out to shovel later that afternoon, but they did not put any salt on the driveway. They left a layer of hard snow on the driveway, which quickly turned to a sheet of ice throughout the evening. I was out for the evening, and by the time I returned home, I could not park in my driveway as my van was literally sliding 10 feet sideways when I was trying to drive in. So, I had to park on the road overnight, and then I received an $80 ticket from the city. I texted *** again at 8:19 AM on January 24 explaining that the person who shoveled failed to salt the driveway, and asking him to please come out as my driveway was a sheet of ice. He did not immediately replied, so I texted him again at 11:09 AM to see if he got my text. He responded right away saying "Someone will be over today". Nobody came. I texted him again at 2:58 PM and 7:49 PM to see if somebody was still coming, and he did not respond. So, at 10:43 PM I sent him another text asking him to refund the $200 that I paid them last week for the second half of winter so that I could pay somebody else to shovel my driveway since they are clearly not interested in providing the service for my residence. I received no response. I followed up the next morning (Jan. 25) at 9:54 AM with another text, and still have received no response.
At this point, I am at my wits end as they don't respond to emails, texts, or voicemail messages. I would really like to have the $200 back that I sent them last week so that I can hire somebody reliable to shovel my driveway.
Mr.,
I can certainly appreciate that there could have been some confusion in regards to service schedules near the end of the season, as we had a few of our top guys move on to different positions.
With this being said, we do have a record of service for you of close to 20 visits.
If you are willing/able, kindly give me a call directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Looking forward to hearing back from you and discussing the matter in more detail.
My wife and I have been using Michael and his guys since last winter. Very pleased to date, although a bit heavy with salt at times!
We paid snow bros for the snow removal service at our house they came upon receiving the 50% deposit (Dec 08 2018) Then it hadn't snowed before they required there next instalment for the balance. After balance was paid (Jan 10 2019) they replied several times they would be sending someone to remove the snow and salt the driveway. Now they won't even acknowledge my calls forcing me to do my own driveway twice and now look for another company that is available this late in the season.
I would like a refund.
We have a record of service for your property that disputes this.
If you would like to discuss further, I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
hired to remove snow, have paid in full and they have not cleared snow for over a week. They have only been to my house once to salt. Not providing service, have many reasons why but snow is still on my driveway.
Provide the service I signed up for clearing snow within 24 hours or refund my money in full
You were one of our very first clients for the season that you are referring to, and I'm actually quite surprised to be seeing this complaint.
If it's a refund that you are looking for, we are willing to issue you some type of partial refund, but I will need you to contact me so that we can discuss the matter further. I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
On Nov 10, 2018 we contracted snow removal services with this company, and provided a 50% downpayment.
Since the beginning of the contract they have NEVER been to our property to either plow the driveway or salt the walkways as specified in the contract.
I have been calling, texting, and emailing for the last two days now and they won't answer the phone or respond in any way.
Since they are in breach of their contract, I want my payments refunded.
we had contractors at your property for rounds of salting, and they have confirmed service of the same. I have an email from yesterday where we specifically told you you would be refunded by January 15th, 2019. Thanks.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No contractor has ever been on my property. My driveway has never been plowed, and my walkways have never been salted. I was home ALL DAY working outside on the day they claim to have come, and no one did.As for the refund, I will consider this closed once the refund is actually issued, and not before.Update: I was promised a refund by January 15th (see attached from owner). It's now after 9pm on January 15th and no refund was issued.Update: It's January 18th (3 days past when the refund was promised) and no refund was issued.
I've been using Snow Bros for 3 years now ***! Always there when it snows, always there's to salt, and always there to answer my phone calls and emails.
I hired this company to do seasonal snow removal for my property since I have developed a disability and am unable to do this on my own without pain. ***, the owner, sent me a contract which I signed and sent them an email transfer of $225 which was payment 1 of 2. The first snowfall happened on Thursday Nov 15, 2018. No one showed up to do the removal. I sent an email and was promised *** would take care of it personally. No one showed up Friday and at 11:30pm I took photos of what it looked like. On Saturday morning it had still not been removed so I contacted *** again who apologized again and said he would be out that night. I could not wait since the city has a 24 hour removal law so Saturday morning I went out and shoveled myself. When I came in I emailed Mr *** and told him not to bother coming as I did it myself and requested my money back to hire a company that would fulfill thier obligation of removal. Since I have this disability I relied on this company that has failed me. He is ignoring all my emails and I don't know what else to do. I just want my money back to hire someone else as my legs can not handle doing this again. I have all the emails saved if they are required.
I want this owner to give me my money back in full with an apology. *** I do not want this to happen to another personal who counts on them.
understand that at your property four separate times, and deposits are non refundable for this exact reason!
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I took pictures before and after you said you were there and the snow piles did not move. You were not the one there personally as you stated you would be in your email so you can not be sure for certain that apparently someone was there 4 times. I sent you the before and after pictures and you have to agree that there is no difference. How can I as a person with a disability feel confident that someone will be there to remove the snow as the season has just started.
we had our subs at your property a number of times. In terms of retainer deposit, this is in case customers back out halfway.
Kathi,
I do apologize that our services weren't what you seemed to be looking for. I do know that your property was serviced a number of times, but I'm willing to issue you a partial refund. Please contact me directly at *** and we can discuss the matter further.
We signed up for a season of snow removal and paid half the fee upfront. They never came to clear any snow, never answered their phones, and didn't reply to emails.
