They started with a copy of my resume, it was a simple warehouse resume. They had question after question, basic common things like I said I was a forklift driver and they asked what was my job title, so I told them forklift driver this went on and on. Finally I told him never mind I'll have it done somewhere else. They wouldn't even give me a refund and I never got the resume. Luckily I purchase it through Groupon and they refunded me.
We attempted to assist this client but unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. Troy purchased his resume writing voucher from a 3rd party vendor. He did not follow our well-established process. We followed up with him on several occasions to try and get some needed information from him regarding his work experience and dates of employment. Regrettably, he refused to provide answers on several items for clarification. Rather than providing information that would assist his writer to create a competitive resume, he even told his assigned writer "you have to make up the months for the jobs". Resume writing is a very collaborative endeavor, especially since the client is truly the only one who really knows their qualifications, strengths, competencies, and skills. In essence, to create a good resume, we rely on the information the client provides. This is to fine-tune the drafts; we asked several questions to make sure the completed product reflects who they are and their skills and showcases their strengths. Troy did receive his first draft on 2/13/20, second draft on 2/14/20, and a final draft on 2/17/20. After receiving the third version of his draft from the writer, he became unresponsive. Our Support team also reached out to help as soon as they were aware of the problem, however, he did not respond. Regarding a refund, contrary to Troy's complaint, that we refused to refund his money, a couple of things: (1) He was unresponsive even if we wanted to issue a refund, we wouldn't have been able to because he was not responding. (2) He purchased his voucher from a different company, not us, and needed to request his refund from them which he apparently did.
