The original dent in the refrigerator was caused potentially by the customer, by her own admission to meShe did not and does not know who caused the original dentOur team member did increase the dent but did not cause the initial dentThe dent is less than 1/4" in size and in no way impacts the functionality of the doorWe paid her appropriately for any additional damage that was caused to an already existing dentSince we did not cause the initial dent, we do not feel it is fair to pay for 100% of the subsequent dentWe sent her a check for any damages we may have caused
Our response, given the circumstances remains the sameOur solution is more than fair and reasonableThank you[redacted] - Owner
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The original spot was not a dent but a small scratch that was barely visible. The addition was a very noticeable dent. I feel as if I am being fair because I did not catch the first one because it was so small. The dent which is much different is noticeable to anyone who comes into the kitchen. I have had many people comment on the fridge. Although the fridge is functional the appearance is ruined because of their employees. In order to fix appearance the entire door must be fixed which is over 500 dollars. The cleaning was refunded and that does not come close to the cost of what it would be to replace the door. If business would split cost of door that would be more appropriate since the business is using my kindness from the first scratch. I am disappointed that something in my house which is the main part of my kitchen was damaged and they aren't willing to fix the dent they made. The dent was much different than a small scratch on the door.
Sincerely,
