Review: Clearview Auto Glass was referred to us in August of 2013 by New Deal Used Cars in Spokane Valley to replace the windshield in our 2005 Toyota Sequoia. Clearview did a pretty good job, so we hired them to replace the windshield in our son's 1993 Honda. [redacted], owner, offered a discount if we paid in cash and didn't want to hassle with credit cards. [redacted], owner, along with an employee, replaced the windshield and broke the security system in the process. Mr. [redacted] admitted fault and offered to have the system repaired at Car Toys in Spokane Valley, WA; however, we never heard from him again. After three, frustrating phone calls to Clearview Auto Glass, Mr. [redacted] agreed to pick up the "security cord" (surrounds the windshield) and take it to Car Toys himself. Mr. [redacted] did not show up as promised. It took multiple phone calls over a one month span and a phone call to New Deal Used Cars before Mr. [redacted] picked up the cord.To date, the "security cord" has not been returned to us. More multiple phone calls have been made to Clearview Auto Glass/[redacted]. He told my husband and I both that the "security cord" had been repaired, but he needed to pick it up. Four months later, the "security cord" has not been returned and we cannot have the system repaired without it. Mr. [redacted] refuses to take our phone calls. In fact, most of Mr. [redacted]'s phone #'s have been disconnected. We researched and learned that Mr. [redacted] has not been registered with the Dept. of Revenue since July of 2013. His business is not licensed or registered. He is not registered or licensed to have employees. (He has at least one employee.) He has had tax warrant issues filed in Spokane County Superior Court, has collected unemployment and he is going through a nasty divorce. We did pay Mr. [redacted] cash as agreed; however, we obtained a receipt from Mr. [redacted] as well as his business card. We have retained phone records also. Clearview Auto Glass offers terrible customer service and is dishonest.Desired Settlement: We want the security system to our 1993 Honda repaired as promised by Mr. [redacted] at Clearview Auto Glass.
