1) The client entered into the contract through the agents at [redacted] 2) No floorplan changes were made after construction began, as these would require revised permitting3) The client sent correspondence to us and the [redacted] various concerns regarding to Building Codes that were shown to be baseless and all stages of construction were approved by the [redacted] inspectors4) The client received her earnest money back when she decided to recant from the contract, but per the contract amendment for Change Requests that she requested and executed, all payments for Change Requests are non refundable5) All financial transactions were made through [redacted] and the title company ( [redacted] ***) We are sorry that the client lost her change request charge, but all transactions and contact regarding earnest money and contractual content and changes were made through the agents at [redacted] and the title companyChange requests are never refundable and this is not only common practice in the industry, but justifiable as the costs are incurred by the builder immediately upon execution of the change request order
