Classic Cars of McHenry County

Classic Cars of McHenry County did a custom build 69 Camaro for me. Delivery was 6 months late. When I received the car I discovered the following: 1) Fuel gauge didn't work 2) Amp gauge didn't work 3) Speedometer didn't work 4) Parking brake didn't work 5) Accessory levers didn't work 6) Front seat belts weren't installed 7) Didn't install tachometer 8) Paint wasn't given a final buff. I could go on and on. I had to hire another shop to repair and finish the car. This company does shoddy work and is untrustworthy. I am proceeding legally against them.

I contracted with Classic Cars of McHenry County to restore a 1970 Chevelle. From outward appearances it looked nice. They were 9 months late in delivery and once I began looking at the car closely, I could see that the finish work was very poor. After I drove it I found that the drive train was cheap components and had been install improperly and I had to pay another shop to repair their poor workmanship. They also did not follow through with sending me some of the chrome trim they had left off and promised to send to me. I would never use this company again. Their work is poor and they cannot be depended up on to complete projects as promised.
