The customer placed the order on 10/10/2013 with a delivery date of 11/1/2013, upon installation the unit was found to have a bad flame sensor. The customer has every right at that time to refuse the unit. This is not a unit that is stock and would need to be ordered.
The Service Department was contacted to order the part. On 11/4/2013 the customer was contacted to inform part is on back order for 1 week. At this time the customer was ok with that information. On 11/15/2013 customer was contacted to inform that individual parts were still on back order and the manufacturer had authorized the entire board would be sent for repair and was scheduled for 11/29/2013.
On 12/31/2013 the customer called in stating the oven would not reach correct temperature. The part was ordered and customer was scheduled for 1/9/2014. On 1/13/14 the manufacturer was contacted for exchange due to back order of parts again.
The manufacturer requires a minimum of 72 hours for the case to be reviewed. They authorized the exchange on 1/18/2014, the unit arrived and install was set at the customer's request for 2/3/2014.
