Thank you so much for your kind words and now being apart of our Clarity Family. Do not hesitate to call us if you need anything at all!
We are very pleased with the result and follow - up from Kyle & Clarity Windows !
A solid job by a very good firm.
Jon *** was the representative who came out to the house and helped us with an old French door we had that was custom some 40 years ago. My wife and I have a handicap son who is wheelchair bound and we needed more access to get him in and out of the house. Jon came up with a custom sliding glass door to solve the problem we had been having. Clarity doors made us the best custom sliding glass door than we good have ever dreamed of. Arturo came out with the crew and was professional and had the old French door removed and the new custom sliding glass door installed in 2.5 hours. Jon, Arturo and Clarity doors exceeded our expectations!!!I recommend customers all the time to Clarity and to Jon because of the professionalism and expertise they have!!I will definitely be calling again with Windows when the time comes!!!
What a wonderful experience with Clarity Windows. I am so pleased with the quality, customer service and the communication about the progress of my windows while in production. Jon, our salesman, was thorough, friendly and professional, answered all our questions. Jesse and his crew members installed efficiently and were wonderful. Such a top notch job. All companies should take note of the way this business is run.
I love my new windows! Clarity is hands down the best, most professional window company around. They make you feel more like family than just another customer. I will definitely refer them to all my friends and family!!
We are so happy you love your new windows! Welcome to the Clarity Family!
We are loving our new Clarity Anlin SunMax 5 windows! They are beautiful!!! Everything about the whole process went so smoothly. From Chris's initial visit and patience with our many questions, to the weekly updates from Ryan, Melissa and Anisa , to the actual install where Arturo, Jesus, and Justino (who were very neat and professional) did a fabulous job! We could not have asked for an easier or more professional experience, It was 5 star all the way!
We are delighted with the results!
Thank you so much,
*** and
Thank you so much for your kind words! We love that you are loving your new window and are a phone call away if you ever have questions of need anything! We are happy that you are now apart of our Clarity Family!
We have used Clarity Windows for full window replacement on two homes we've owned. They did such a fantastic job the first time, that when we moved into our second home in early 2020, we knew immediately we would use them again. Chris is fantastic to work with. His office kept us updated every week on the status of our order, and quickly scheduled installation once the windows were ready to go. The installers were meticulous, courteous, and prompt. They installed the new windows right by our pool and did a great job of keeping all debris out of the pool. And of course, most importantly, the windows look fantastic.
Our Clarity experience has been great! In November I finally decided to get replacement windows after feeling that draft from our construction grade windows. I tend to over shop so I had 6 different window companies come out for bids. I was blown away by the sales pitch from the Clarity salesman, Michael. He never pushed and simply relied on the product. That confidence in his product was really an important factor in my decision. I also researched both Clarity and the windows they were selling. Five star ratings for both Clarity and the Anlin windows. None of the other companies who made their pitch were even close to the ratings.
Clarity was not the lowest bid or the highest. I chose them because of the quality and their reviews.
In January, Clarity came out to install 29 windows and one front door. The installers, Arturo, ***, and Carlos were outstanding! I could tell from the start that these gentlemen knew what they were doing. They were always professional and very courteous during the whole process. They were also very patient with my continued questions and always let me know what was happening.
As with most projects there were small problems - The door did not arrive with hardware. I made one phone call to Michael and this problem was corrected within an hour. There was also a small problem with the initial bid on the door which turned out to be a computer glitch that once was pointed out was corrected immediately. It's how a company responds to problems which really shows how good the company is.
We have had our new windows and door for 2 weeks now and have been very happy. I no longer feel the draft and we have received several compliments on both the door and windows. It's also amazing to have these *** clear windows that make it feel there is no window there at all.
If you are looking for windows or doors, I would recommend at the very least having Clarity give you a quote. Again, you might pay more than the low bids out there but the quality will not have you second guessing your decision.
The entire windows replacement experience with Clarity Home Improvements was first rate from start to finish. The Design Consultant Bill *** was a delight to work with and offered an insight about a design choice uniquely suited to our property that made the final outcome of the project something that we will marvel at and appreciate every day. The installers, Arturo, Jose and Jesus, took pride in their work, paid careful attention to the details of the installation, genuinely cared about homeowner satisfaction, and did a remarkable job of minimizing the construction mess and cleaning up when they were finished.
Amazing company! Love my new windows and doors. My back porch coating is so pretty! The install crew was wonderful.
Windows Replaced. We just had all 38 windows in our home replaced. My wife says I like the hunt more than the harvest. I researched and received quotes for three months and am confident I made the best decision. Lots of reviews said "it's all about the numbers", so I got educated in U-Factors, Solar Gain Coefficients, Visual Transmittance, Condensation Resistance, NFRC Score(National Fenestration Rating Council), AAMA Certifications, etc. I knew from experience that I did not want to do business with company that just sold products. I wanted to pay a local company who installed, warranted and serviced the windows if I encountered issues. I didn't want to deal with a seller, an installer, and a manufacturer separately. After extensive Web and Revdex.com research, I received quotes from the three companies at the top of my list. I landed on Clarity Home Improvements in Southlake because of their excellent service ratings, pricing was very competitive and all their windows were very high performers. I visited their showroom, met the owner (Chris) and chose their the Anlin Platinum window product. I am convinced Chris' success is because he is a real window nerd and focuses on service. Clarity's prices were very reasonable, and the window choices are all premium grade with nuances to meet various needs. Our needs were for maximum efficiency and to be blissfully unaware that my neighbors were mowing their lawns. I achieved both. From initial sales call to the post installation check-up, the process was superb. The Clarity Installation crew made sure they cleaned up each space and made sure we were pleased with how things were going as we progressed to each window. Even with high expectations, we were not disappointed. We expected to have lots of touch up and some clean-up, but had neither....and the caulking is a work of art!
We had the one day garage floor coating installed and it is beautiful!! We had the normal oil stains, rust stains and cracks. I could not believe the installers were able to get it done in one day. The installers were very professional and fast. I am very impressed with Clarity!! Thanks again Clarity!!
We have issues with the windows having moisture on the outside. With double pane and argon gas, this should not be happening.
The windows sweat on the outside, with double pa
ned and argon gas filled, this should not occur. We feel this will be reversed in winter, causing damage to the inside window seals and possible walls and sheetrock. These were purchased XX-X-XXXX and installed approximatelty 6-8 weeks later. We have been in contact with Mr. of Clarity which he has been out and witnessed the problem on three seperate occasions. We have been told "This is what they are suppose to do."
We have poke with everyone we know and no one has this problem. All of our neighbors and people in different cities. We have spoke to no less than 20 other window companies. They tell us theirs do not do this. We do not trust this product and want our money back so that we can purchase new windows.
We need the full price refunded, plus the cost of new solar screens and bedding. We were told we would not need solar screens as there was a tint on the windows. Within a month, it was noticed the new bedding had begun to fade. We had requested twice, that the solar screens we had on the windows be left as they were only 2 yrs old. They were not left, causing us to purchase new screens.
We met with the customer on 8/24/17 to look at their concerns. That day there was exterior condensation but it was pouring down rain so everything was too wet to get any assessment done. I did explain to the customer how the science of what was happening. I emailed a youtube link that fully explains exterior condensation. I also provided several articles that I had researched and printed off so that the customer could have a better understanding of what was going on.
We then decided to reschedule to meet a different day when it was not raining and we would test the windows and make sure that they were indeed equipped with the Low E and Argon that had been purchased.
8/29/17 Met with the customer again to review the issues of exterior condensation. Arrived at 9:50am and there was no exterior condensation this particular day. We removed a sash from several windows and tested them with a heat lamp and BTU meter to make sure they were working properly. The test confirmed that there is no issues with the windows. I asked if the customer received the youtube link and if they had read the information that I had left. The customer stated that they had received the link and still had the information that I had left (I did not get a clear answer as to whether any of it had been reviewed).
Their concerns that exterior condensation should not be happening with Argon filled windows and that because of this belief there must be something wrong. Before I left this day I was told by the customer that "Yeti cups don't sweat because they are Argon filled". At this point I knew that continuing with the scientific explanation of why this was happening was going to be tough.
9/20/17 Met with the customer and took a manufacturer representative with me. There had been 2" of rain the night before (per the customer). There was exterior condensation on all the windows except one. The one exception was the window on the back patio. All the other windows on the house have flower beds with a lot of plant life around them. We even took pictures of windows that were so wet that there was water dripping from the screen frame. The excess water dripping from the screen frame is not exterior condensation. It is either excess that hasn't dried from the storm the night before or it is from an alternate source (like a sprinkler).
Upon explaining that when the surface temperature of an object drops below the dew point condensation occurs, the customer went on about how they had spoken with at least 20 different companies that guaranteed that their windows would not have exterior condensation. I, once again, tried to explain that no window manufacturer would responsibly make that claim and that no window company would ever put that information in writing because it is simply wrong.
I told the customer that since they had spoken with over 20 companies that said this should not be happening and claimed they would put it in writing to please provide me with that information so I could go to bat for them with the manufacturer. I told them that with the names and phone numbers of the people that told her that their windows would not do that, I would call and verify so we could make a case with our manufacturer. I told them that with written warranties from companies they had spoken with stating their windows would not have exterior condensation, we could use that to move in the direction they wanted.
The reason I made the request is because I knew it would never be met. Since the windows are functioning properly and every window company out there knows this. A manufacturer will never put in writing what this customer wants to hear.
The next step taken by the customer was not providing the information that they claim to have gotten but to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.
This process started with a phone call from the customer with exterior condensation. This phenomenon is not uncommon when conditions are right. We explained why this is occurring and thought all was fine.
We then received a letter from the customer that was sent to us and the window manufacturer that further emphasized their concerns and threatened a Revdex.com complaint as well as legal action. We responded immediately with a phone call to set up our first meeting. You have just read about what followed. I told the customer on our first meeting at the home that my hope was that there was something wrong with the windows. I hoped this because if there is something wrong then we can fix it. The unfortunate reality is that there is nothing wrong with this customer's windows. The exterior condensation is occurring because there is apparently a tremendous amount of excess moisture around their home, the windows are preventing the interior climate from escaping through the glass (as they are suppose to do). The customer claims that they have this issue every morning and that it always burns off but not quickly enough for them.
I truly wish the problem stemmed from a problem with the window. If so I would replace every one of them if necessary.
The problem here is that since the windows are installed correctly and they are functioning properly so there is no resolution that will make the customer happy.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On Sept. 20th when *** visited we had 1/2 in of rain, not 2". The windows did have condensation on thenm and it was pointed out to Mr. where the edge of the window was clearing, he said it was from the rain, but I showed him where the rain was trickling and this was clearing from the side of the window as air is seeping through. It was very obvious the difference. These windows are suppose to be energy efficient, however our electric bill has continued to climb. These windows are not as represented! And yes! We did read over the materials he left. Did not really explain why double payned, argon filled windows would do this.
The reality is that the amount of rain (even though I was using information given by the customer) really has no relevance in this issue.
The explanation is, always has been and always will be as follows:
Condensation forms on an object when that objects surface temperature goes below the dew point. The dew point is defined as the temperature where the air is 100% saturated with moisture - or where the air is at 100% relative humidity.
Your windows are having condensation because the surface of the window is below the dew point. Not because the windows are defective or "not good windows" as is being claimed.
This is NOT a bad thing. What is happening on those windows with the condensation is that the window is performing exactly as designed...It is blocking the heat from in your home from reaching the outside of your home thus allowing the outside windows to be cooler than the morning dew point.
Exterior condensation on energy efficient windows is quite common and it is perfectly normal.
I hate that the customer is unhappy and thinks they have defective windows. They have made the claim that over 20 companies have told them this is not normal but refuse to back up their claim with names and numbers. They have made the claim that several manufacturers have told them they would guarantee in writing that their windows would never have condensation on the exterior of the home but refuse to provide supporting documentation.
I have a stellar reputation in the industry because we take care of our customers and fix issues with their product when they exist. I stated to this customer on our first visit that I hope something is wrong with the windows because if so I can fix it. The reality is that there is nothing wrong with their windows. I have provided the scientific explanation for the phenomenon, I have provided web links, youtube links to help explain and provide supporting evidence. I have made multiple trips to the customer's home to test the windows.
1st trip: pouring down rain so we couldn't do much except explain the condensation as it relates to the dew point.
2nd trip: no exterior condensation as documented. We were able to remove sashes for testing and they had no moisture period.
3rd trip: Rain from the previous night. Yard was totally saturated, water dripping from solar screens (we have pics). One window on the back patio had no external moisture.
Customer has also acknowledged that the external moisture burns off every day, just not fast enough for them.
If there was an actual issue with the windows we would exhaust any and all resources to resolve it. I have hundreds of customers over the years that can attest to our diligence at resolution. The simple fact here is that there isn't an issue.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They are not proposing a resolution. The last I heards was Mr. Bar wanted to have a representative from the glass company to come out and look.
This is fine but we have not heard a positive date from him, he said the 9th or the 16th. This is still dodging the real issue. I know they say this is normal, but does your windows do this? Nor anyone else you can speak to.
Also, they have not addressed the fact of our utility bill. These are suppose to be energy efficient, but our bill has gone up each month! This is not energy efficient!
We have resolved to the possibility the windows are not installed properly and sealed as they should be. We continue to talk to other window people trying to find a reason for this. We should not have to have other companies defend their product, especially when theirs work properly! You can go look at theirs and they are not covered with humidity!
Instead of trying to resolve the issue, Mr. and Mr. Bar just keep saying there is nothing wrong! Are they going to pay the excess electric bills?
Clarity has replaced windows and doors on my home. Excellent products and customer service. I highly recommend them to everyone!
We replaced the windows of our entire home with Clarity. So pleased were we that we recommended them so several other large homes in our area and they followed suite. The price was good (far less than some "name" remodeling companies), the quality of the windows was great, and the service was fantastic. Over time, we had one seal break and the window was replaced by warranty and quickly. My electric and heating bills plummeted. We could not be happier. *** runs a great business built around customer service. We would use no other.
Clarity has installed both windows and doors in our home and we could not be more satisfied with the quality of materials, overall performance and the service we received.
Our worst problem window was a west dining room window that made evening meals almost impossible. After Clarity replaced and already upgraded window, UV penetration and glare was cut dramatically, and on one of the hottest days of summer, I measured a 30-degree temperature drop from outside of the outer pane to the inside of the interior pane. Now we can enjoy our dining room again.
Clarity also replaced an unsheltered exterior south-facing door on an upstairs loft. The outer wood surface was warping and peeling away, while windblown rain leaked in around the doorknob and threshold. Clarity's fiberglass door matched our woodwork inside and we painted exterior surface to match our trim outside. After 5 years of sun, UV and rain exposure, the door looks as good as it did the day it was installed. And it opens, closes and locks as perfectly as a bank vault. We liked it so well, we replaced our patio door with the identical fiberglass door.
Clarity's not the cheapest and by far, not the most expensive, but I feel they take the most care when assessing the homeowner's needs and budget. I have recommended them to several friends and relatives. Our church used Clarity Coatings to repair a dilapidated sidewalk in front our church and we were thrilled with the transformation. Great people, great work, great customer service and great warranties.
After many months of research, trying to find floor covering meterial. I was lucky and stumbled on to Clarity Floor Coverings. They are true professional.
We are beyond pleased with the outcome of our Outdoor living area. What a great product.
I have used Clarity windows several times for upgrades to windows and doors for my home. They have provided a quality product that has made a big positive difference in both appearance and utility bills. They are professional and their installers ensure a quality job and clean work site.
