I ordered MIa devices and when they arrived I received one Mia and one Mia When I purchased them I did so using a promo code during Cyber Weekend for 30% offI called them to let them know they sent me the wrong deviceHe apologized and then told me because of the price of the item, I would need to email support and send a photo to get a refundI emailed the support team and no response was receivedI decided to try live chatBrianna was my chat personShe apologized and told me to send the Mia back and they would issue a refund and then I could repurchase the Mia I asked why they couldn't just send a replacement? They are sold out of the particular "package" that I bought so they could not issue a replacementSo I asked that they just send me a Mia She said they couldn't do that! I said ok, since I need to give this as a Christmas gift in days I will just give them the Mia and you can credit the price difference between the She said they couldn't do that either because I didn't purchase the Mia technicallyWell I paid a lot of money for something! So originally the price of the device was $and with my promo code I received the device for $I asked that I be able to then purchase another Mia at the same price after sending the Mia back and again I was told that they would not honor the original promo code of 30% off but could give me 15% offSo they essentially want me to pay 15% more for the same device even though this is their mistake! They have made no attempt to fix their mistake or any way for me to get the product in time to give it as a gift anyway! What a horrible company and customer service team! I will never do business with them again and suggest everyone else stay away from them!
I'm writing about the clarisonic device I bought from a authorized retailerI bought Mia in 2014, but did not even open the box until the past Christmas when I'm traveling, since I've been using the other clarisonic device I bought around the same timeSo technically speaking, it's still brand newHowever weird things happened when l was trying to use the MiaFirst of call, it did not work; secondly, there is no LED light on the back of the device so I couldn't tell if it's being charged or notWorst of all, I tried many times to call Clarinsonic's customer service number and got nobody ever picked up the phoneVery very disappointed as I have been a loyal clarinsonic customer
The products and company in general not to mention customer service is NOT what it used to beThey charge $100's of dollars for their devices that last maybe a year, it's impossible to get anyone from the company on the phoneRefunds even if the product is still under warranty are very hard to get and usually they give you the run around until surprise your warranty expires and then they do nothing for you! They might offer you a 25% off coupon but with their shoddy customer service why would you use itAlso the coupon is literally only good for hours then it expires and you can't even use it on the Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift only on the Mia'sIf all of this weren't enough they no longer offer anything to licenses estheticians! Time was you could buy at wholesale with an established license but not anymore unless you want to order $worth of product and sell their garbage devicesThe reviews on their social media pages as well as glassdoor reveal the truthThis company has and is going downDon't waste your money, buy any other product!
