Claremont Funding

Review: Claremont Funding contacted me in either July or August of last year offering to do a mortgage modification for me. On August **, 2012, [redacted] ( [redacted] at Claremont Funding) came to my house. We reached an agreement and signed a contract. I gave [redacted] $2995.00 check for his services. In return [redacted] will work with my mortgage company (Chase Bank) to reduce my interest rate to 2 percent for 5 years and 3.25 percent until the mortgage loan is paid off. [redacted] assured me the process will take 3 to 4 months.

Over the last year [redacted] and I had several conversations. In July of this year he said my mortgage modification was 75% complete. On October **, 2013, he informed me Claremont Funding had closed. He offer no explanation. But, when I checked with Chase Bank they informed me there was no record on file from Claremont Funding contacting them on my behalf.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back plus the interest I lost over the last 13 months.
