On January 10th I registered for my daughters birth certificate on canadianbirthcertificates.com
Fillies out all forms played with my *** and received a confirmation email
Applicant first name: ***
Applicant last name: ***
Service Type: Regular Service
Quantity: First Birth Certificate (Short Form) - Quantity 1
First Birth Certificate (Long Form) - Quantity 1
Amount paid (VITAL STATISTICS SUPPORT): $161
Transaction ID::
XXXXXXXXXXX
Almost 6 months later I have not received the birth certificate but was immediately charged $161.00 in January
A refund of $161.00
Dear ***
Thank you for reaching out to us, we are sorry things are taken so long with your son's birth certificate. We fully refunded you including the government fee. Please call Service Ontario to track the progress of your son's application. Here is your case number XXXXXXXX - X. This is important because the application could still be in progress and waiting with all the other applications to be sent out. Unfortunately, all government departments seem to be extra slow right now. Here is Service Ontario's phone number X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Again, we deeply apologize for things taking so long, if you have any problem at all in getting your son's birth certificate, I will be more then happy to help in any way for free.

I accept the refund
Site claims that "specialize in locating and expediting shipment of global vital documents direct to our clients' door". I submitted a request for a marriage certificate and was charged $67 for the service. 12 weeks later and almost 14 weeks after the marriage, their response to my status update request is "you must wait 10 weeks after the event date to request an update" and that I should call Service Ontario (whom only charges $15 for an actual marriage certificate). If I would have known that I would have just ordered it from Service Ontario
I just want my money back, since they clearly can't deliver on their advertisement of expedited locating and delivery of the marriage certificate and I feel that I was definitely over charged for the service.
Dear ***,
We are sorry you were unhappy with our service.
Our expedient service pledge concerns replacement vital statistics documents, such as birth certificates and marriage certificates. Governments never issue the first ever certificate with any kind of expediency. We're sorry this was not made clear. You applied for our regular service, so our expedited service standards wouldn't have applied, anyway, but we will try to make this information clearer for future clients.

Thank you for your quick response, I am satisfied with the resolution
I thought I was ordering a birth certificate from ***, and never received the birth certificate after paying $100 for expedited service. I found out recently that I had ordered from a 3rd party which is well known for fraud.
I would like my money ($100) refunded
We are sorry for any convenience this may have caused the client. A refund was processed on March 7th as per the client's request. We have also emailed him a copy of the refund receipt. The birth certificate application has been processed on behalf of the client and he will be receiving the certificate without any charge. ***.
