The property is being renovated and in each case he was presented with an opportunity to move off of the property or transfer to a different apartment on the same property. He chose to remain on the property and transfer to another apartment....
The last time he transferred, it was because he wanted a more upgraded unit. At this point, the company has decided not to renew his lease which is within their rights to do so.

I am rejecting this response because:This was not brought to my attention that I would be automatically renewed for a month outside of my leasing agreement. This is also not on the contact I signed. I can produce this because I have a copy of the documents I signed.
Sincerely,

During the signing of the lease agreement the required move out notice is listed in the terms on the lease agreement. We would be happy to provide a copy of the signed lease agreement. Additionally, we provide both letters to the residents' door as well as emails well in advance to the required...
notice period. In this particular case these letters were sent on July 10th and August 10th. We apologize if you did not review either of the letters sent, however we are unable to release you from the terms of the lease you signed. A 30 day notice is required.
All of our lease state that a written 30 day notice is required. He gave notice on the 31st of July, which means he would need to continue to pay through August 31st. I see he was charged 7 days in September, which is an error. He doesn’t owe anything beyond August 31. He was sent to collections...
because he did not pay the remaining balance at the end of August. He currently owes $261.29. I know the collection agency balance is different because of the 7 days in September, I will get that balance corrected.
The lease clearly states right above the signature line " Resident acknowledges that this lease may be automatically renewed on a month to month basis in the event resident fails to provide a written notice of residents intent to vacate the premises." We would be happy to provide a copy of the document if the customer would like. Please contact our office with a mailing address.
