I am writing a formal complaint for the inadequate quality of service rendered at an event I attended at Café Iguana Pines located at *** in *** Florida on Sunday, July 8th at approximately 5:45pm.
Upon the delivery of my vehicle on this day, I noticed that there were white stains on the driver seat and dirt on the rug. I asked the attendant what happened to the vehicle while in their care, questioning why my car had been given to me in such disarray. The attendant responded that the stains to the seat may have come from his pants or legs and walked off.
I spoke to the supervisor, *** and expressed to him my concerns with the stains to the upholstery of the driver seat and my rug. I expressed to Mr. that this was a brand new 2018 vehicle that was purchased last month. It was very unfair for me to give have given my vehicle for valet services and to receive it in that condition.
I kindly requested a wet wipe for the seat to be cleaned and a refund of payment given in the amount of $10.00. Mr. wiped the stains on the seat off with a wet rag and said that he could not issue me a refund. He continued to say, 'if I give you a refund then I would have to refund everyone else who has had a complaint.? He then gave an example of past customers requesting refunds for them having to wait a long amount of time for their vehicle. I respectfully explained that this wasn't the same case. I was requesting a refund due to the damage made to the upholstery due to negligence. Mr. Newman then abruptly responded, 'so what are we supposed to do'? 'Apply coverings to the seats and floor for each vehicle we service'?.
At that point in time I was truly taken back by the statements made by Mr. Unfortunately, as a customer I have been truly treated with disregard and disrespect to the concerns I addressed on the inadequate quality in customer service. With the negligence of service provided by your company, the stain on my upholstery is still affected with the.

Hello,
We have had an issue brought to our attention by Revdex.com. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience that happened that day. I remember the incident that has taken place that day. We understand that there was dirt tracked in her car from our employee. Beforehand we had been working in the rain for several hours. The sun came out but the ground was still wet. The locations in which we park the cars are located around dirt. The dirt tracked in her car was out of our control for it is an act of mother nature. We have a sign that makes us not responsible for any acts of nature which this was out of our control due to the weather. I tried to talk to the customer but she wants a hefty amount to detail her car. Unfortunately we stand by our company policy that we do not take responsibility for acts of nature.
Thank you so much,
*** Supervisor of S.H valet services.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response presented by the company is unsatisfactory. From my recollection I do not believe it rained that day. The company explained that the acts of nature that caused my rug on the drivers side to be dirty will not be covered however they did not address the fact that they left the interior stained. I was told by the individual who detailed my vehicle that the stain on the seat was sunscreen. The individual responsible for valeting my vehicle had to have applied sunscreen on his legs which ended up on the seat. The fact that my seat was stained was not from acts of nature but more of negligence on the company's end.
The poor service I received from the company and lack of care is truly unacceptable and will pursue in escalating this to a higher credentialing agency.
I do understand the frustration, however we are in Florida. It did rain that day. We know for had been outside all day as she was inside the club. I do apologize. As a small business we can not cover incidents which are out of our control. I'm deeply sorry you had a bad experience with our company. We stand by our A plus rating on the Revdex.com. However we still have to to stand by our company policies and procedures. Thank you so much.
