The *** ** *** ***' Parks and Recreation Department extended the Adult Softball registration in an attempt to gather enough teams to make a "A" division applicable for playUnfortunately, there was not enough interest in the "A" Division*** ***' team registered to play on
Thursday, September 14thThe decision was made on Monday, September to refund the teams that signed up for the Co-Ed "A" division due to a lack of overall interest from teamsAccording to the City's accounts payable schedule, a copy of which I have attached to this letter, refunds submitted after September and before September 28, will be issued on October 4th and put in the mail or available for pick up at the Recreation Center, whichever the payer choosesOur refund policy, posted in front of our register (also attached for your review), states: "Refund will take up to 2-weeks to receive in the mail." Between the cancellation on September and the date the check will be available for pick up, October 41h, the elapsed time is two weeks and two daysThe City's cash handling policy states that all money (cash, checks, money orders) will be turned into the City's Finance Department within hours of receiptThe Parks & Recreation Department did just that so we could not simply just hand them their check backIt is the City's Parks and Recreation Department's goat to provide a diverse and quality recreational experience for our citizensIt is always the City's sincere hope that all athletic divisions have enough teams to have a successful seasonThe City has no way of garnering why year may be different from others in terms of those showing upIn this case, the division did not make and the City will refund the fee to all who signed up for that divisionThe City must also follow its financial policies in both receiving money and making refundsThe City will process the request for refund and the team will have a check October 4.Sincerely,*** ** ***

was contacted by the *** *** *** of Harker Heights, *** *** *** She was very understanding of my concerns of the water meter installed at my home and the additional chargers that followed that instillation which I was never made aware of She has instructed the Water Department to make those additional charges in writing as an info sheet to be available to their customers who want a separate water meter for their grass sprinkler system This information will be available within the next hours both at the Harker Heights water utility desk and to be given to the customer by the utility workers who install those meters
She has authorized a $ credit to my account which my wife and I are very satisfied with
Thank you for your service in forwarding my complaint to the Harker Heights City Hall last week and the results
Please use my statement above as my satisfied resolution to my former complaint
