City Locksmith Store

Review: I contacted City Locksmith Store to get a quote to re-key my house. They quoted me $29 for a site visit plus $19 per cylinder and sent a technician out immediately. After disassembling the lock and reassembling it, the tech determined that the lock could not be re-keyed and charged me $85 for the service call. No work was performed, no keys re-keyed. I paid the technician and notified him that I would complain to the company about this misleading practice. I contacted City Locksmith Store to complain twice and the supervisor returned my call three business days later. The supervisor was confrontational and unwilling to acknowledge my claim or offer any type of refund. I told him I would complain to Revdex.com and he told me to go ahead. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Who charges $85 to provide an estimate and does not state up front that these charges could be incurred even if no work is performed?Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $56 over-charged for this call. I am perfectly willing to pay $29 for a service fee as stated when I called, and only ask that they refund the amount not disclosed. They should disclose these hidden fees at the time the appointment is set and on their website.
