City Hardwood Floor

We hired City Hardwood Floor Company to demo and install new hardwood floors in our home 12/12/16 work began yesterday by signing a Contract for the agreed price within one hour of beginning work his helpers broke all of the tile around our fireplace which he refused to fix "He doesn't do tile" he also tried to raise the price by over 1 thousand dollars in the same moment when we refused to pay the unwarranted extra charge, he held up the Check we wrote him and the contract we both signed and said too bad I have these, however we are quick and took BOTH from his hands he then proceeded to throw debris into our front yard and left. I called him on the phone this morning he now claims we broke our own tile and is refusing to pay for the damages and costs he has caused us. I am getting estimates to repair the damages and so far its over 500 dollars we have also hired another floor company to finish the work.
