Got letter from Citi "An exclusive offer for citi cardmenbers" to open checking account and get bonus. I met requirements listed in promotion. Called listed #*** , representative obtained my info, promised that I will get an account in a week and can deposit money. Did not get respond from Citi. Called again and they found that it was opened and closed account on my name and I disqualified to get this promotion.
I DID NOT OPEN OR CLOSED CITI ACCOUNT . BANK DID THAT BY ITSELF. I did not sign any document.
Is this acceptable in banking business?
I lost so much time and unable to use money secured to open an account.
Please investigate.

I was an authorized user on a Cit credit card. After I payed the balance down to 0, I had to return one of the products to ***. A *** computer. When try to purchase another computer my card was denied. I purchased the computer by other means. My money or refund for the returned *** computer has been put back on the Cit card. I am asking that the amount of 776.35 refunded to immediately. This company has used unethical practices in handling this situation. I have been hanged up on by company representatives, the same disrespect has been shown to my mother who was the original card holder. I have asked that my name be removed from the account and money owed to me refunded, in an effort to avoid any more business with this entity.
