Review: This business runs an auction website for cigars and cigar accessories. I won an item which the site charged my card for (later refunded after issuing a complaint) but they never shipped the item because it was on back order and said that they do not plan on restocking. They offered me a replacement of an item that had a much lower retail value and it was very unprofessional and insulting. I called them to discuss this matter and they said the best they could do was cancel the order. They misrepresented an item for sale and wasted my time in following up on this matter. To this point, I have spent a large amount of money (over $1,000) this year alone through their business and am upset with how they handled this issue.Desired Settlement: I want them to get the item which I ordered and ship it to me at the price I won it at through the auction.
Review: Sometime prior to 8/28/2014 I placed a bid with an online auction at CigarBid.com for product(s).I received a winning bid confirmation from "Cbid" on 8/28/2014 with a total bill for product and shipping of 43.95. I never received a shipping notice or the product as of 9/4/2014... Checking on my order #[redacted] I found that it had been back ordered as of 8/28.. I followed the rules of the auction as set forth by Cbid and provided source of payment and payment per their requirements for the auction. I emailed Cbid customer service on 9/4 inquiring about this order and have not received a reply as of 0813, 9/5. I was of the impression that I was bidding on product that was available and ready to ship. The cost of product and shipping(43.95)were deducted from my bank account on 8/28 *.*The debit seems to have been removed from my bank ledger as of this morning but no credit has been logged. There are several issues I have with this attempted transaction..Is this auction being conducted without available product or bids being accepted for more product then are in inventory? Are bids being denied by virtue of a convenient "Back Order" when "unspecified reserve" is not met? I was informed when I filed a customer service email inquiry that I would be contacted within 24 hours..I have received no response.Desired Settlement: If this situation persists there needs to be public information on this so people do not feel deceived.Especially after meeting all the requirements of the auction i.e. personal info and payment info.A answer from someone about the legality of auctioning product that is not available..Back ordered product I don't believe is available.I am not sure exactly where I am at with refund/replacement since I have not received a response in their published time frame.
