Over all, this has been a disappointing experienceI felt when I asked for a reference from Sherwin Williams and was given the card (C.I.Dâ right {consider it done, right} [redacted] ***) by a young man who highly recommended this person, I could expect a professional jobInstead, I had to constantly address the poor or unacceptable quality of the work: painted over outlets and covers with flat wall paint, woodwork on windows panes not completely painted - some not at all, painted hardware on windows that should not have been painted, paint left on window glass, patch work that was not sanded, paint on carpet and furniture, and areas where the wall meets the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom tile were left unpainted - 1/2" outline/strip of old paint showingThe blinds were all lowered when the painting was finished, so I did not notice the problems right awayWhen I enlisted this contractor in good faith, I never imagined I would get anything other than professional resultsAs a homeowner, I've always done my own painting and would expect a professional, at the very least, to produce the same caliber of work and have the same standards
