We purchased a new construction home with Christopher Alan Homes in August 2019 and as per our contract we have a one year 100% warranty on the home. We have been trying to get a paint peeling issue on the outside of our home resolved which was noted in our home inspection that Christopher Alan Homes received prior to our closing. It is now February 2020 with no resolution. We just get the run around and story after story (like many other repairs we needed on the house). The 100% home warranty is nothing but a joke. If they cannot fix a paint issue in a timely manor what would it be like if there was a more serious issue with the house. We are extremely disappointed on how things have been handled from the day of closing to present time. We are aware of busy schedules and their growing business but it is not proper to sell a home and not stand by your word and signed contract. We have had to jump through hoops to get some of the other repairs done on the home. This paint issue is going to cause bigger problems if it is not repaired.

Repair Paint needs to be scrapped off and applied correctly by a professional painter.
We have acknowledged that debris (grass) which got caught up in the paint needs to be removed and the wall section will be repainted. It is scheduled for this week.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We do not accept their response because they did NOT state the peeling of the paint along the entire side of house, they just stated the debris (grass) caught up in the paint. We want the the debris (grass) scrapped out of the paint and the peeling of the paint needs to be scrapped and repainted. The entire outside wall needs to be repainted. They also responded that it was going to be fixed last week and still has not been repaired at all. We emailed them yesterday to request a day that they were going to repair and have not received any response (as usual).
This reply was taken verbally by Revdex.com:
We also were not happy with the painting job and will be having a different vendor redoing the painting for the customer.

We will be satisfied once the wall is completed and painted properly. We would like for a supervisor of Christopher Alan homes to be here while the job is being done to overlook the project. We are so disappointed that has been going on for 6 months
Christopher Alan Homes/JHS sent a new painter here today 3/16/2020 to fix the wall and it looks good so far. It is still wet but all in all we are pleased with this outcome. Thank you
