[redacted] , Resolutions Specialist Revdex.com Rutherford Lane, Suite Austin, Texas RE: Complaint ID # [redacted] Ms [redacted] , Mr [redacted] placed an order with Angelsword LLC for a custom sword featuring our patented TechnoWootz™ Damascus steel on or about March 21, The custom order had very specific and detailed requirements, so the estimated date of completion was initially listed at “to years” which would have put estimated completion approximately one year agoUnfortunately, Angelsword LLC had a very bad year in due to internal employee issues The company’s primary machinist had failed to perform routine maintenance on critical equipment, was suspected of stealing company materials, and was suspected of intentionally sabotaging one of the critical machines necessary for continued production of key pieces of custom orders before being caught stealing time on the clock from the company and the termination of his employment To complicate matters, financial improprieties on the part of the company’s bookkeeper were discovered in December I was brought in by [redacted] , the company’s owner and master swordsmith, to conduct an internal investigation and forensic audit My investigation sustained substantial financial improprieties, including but not limited to embezzlement of well over $300,over a 4-year period by the company’s now-previous bookkeeper In short, two of the people Mr [redacted] trusted the most profoundly violated his trust The series of unfortunate events had significant negative impact on production, including production and custom orders, and on customer relationsWhile such events could readily cause a bankruptcy and closure of any small business, through diligent behind-the-scenes efforts Mr [redacted] and I have had notable success in rebuilding, restructuring, and improving the processes and internal controls of Angelsword LLC Equipment that was not maintained or was sabotaged by the previous employee has been repaired, and new, improved equipment is being secured to help jump-start increased production We recognize that customer relations were negatively impacted by our focus on rebuilding rather than transparency – yet pending civil litigation and criminal charges necessated the lack of frank, public discussion The employee who was previously in communication with Mr [redacted] was not authorized to discuss the internal mattersI am confident that Mr***’s custom sword will be completed to his ultimate satisfaction even though completion time will ultimately be about 25% longer than initially estimatedRespectfully, [redacted] *** Inquisitor for Angelsword,LLC
