Very disappointed in DSM. When we first contacted them and they wanted our business, they were very accommodating and it didn't feel like they were trying to sell us on stuff we didn't want. They did a great job last fall. We were assured there was a one year warranty on the perennials planted. Come spring, when many of them didn't come up, we contacted them to have them come take a look and replace the plants that were dead. Contact was very poor and we did not receive answers. They argued on the warranty and never followed through with coming to replace the plants.
I am always willing to listen to professional recommendations and learn from them, but when it comes down to it, it is my choice as the customer. They tried to sell us on a spring clean up and weed spraying for the summer, which I was going to do until I kept getting the excuse that it would be a while before they could come out. We waited, and the weeds took over because they didn't come. When we switched to a different company for weed spraying, I still asked them to come look at the plants and kept getting excuses and no follow through. Extremely disappointed and will not be recommending DSM to anyone. They need to improve communication and customer service. Have the integrity to follow through with what you promise when you're trying to get business.
