From: [redacted] Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2:PMSubject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.comIn response to the complaint you received from Mr [redacted] , I would like to clarify on the accusations he has falsely made Mr [redacted] ’s parents are long time satisfied customers who have mentioned from time to time their struggles they have had with their son (***) and his addiction [redacted] is in his mid 40’s and is still supported by & living with his parents and demonstrates a lack of responsibility When ***’s Kia Rio arrived by tow truck he had already disassembled the front of the motor & was having trouble fixing it so he brought it to us Upon further investigating we discovered that whoever previously installed the timing belt incorrectly and the bolt that holds pulley sheered off in the crank When we discussed this with [redacted] and his father they agreed that it was not worth the money to repair and [redacted] asked if we could get rid of it for him, we then asked our tow company & they towed the car away for free we did not receive any money for the vehicle and we did not charge the customer for anything Later the tow company put a new engine in the vehicle that they had from a wrecked vehicle and they sold it, not us.As far as the other vehicle it was one of our employee’s vehicles and was sold as is It was a vehicle and it drove fine and ran good but was an older vehicleHe returned a week later complaining about the front end and when we looked at it we discovered that someone had taken the cotter bolts off the front sway bars after it had left the shop So we repaired the vehicle, replaced all the parts at cost and fixed the entire interior he had ripped out for some reason and did not charge for any labor The main reason we went the extra mile was for his parents who are wonderful, long term customers and we know the struggles they have with their son *** In ending my reply I would like to stress that he is very rough on his vehicles and the car was sold as is from one of our employees at the shop we had no obligation to repair the vehicle after he purchased it In any business reputation is everything, and our customers are long term, they respect our honesty & workmanship we have built our business on over the past years.Respectfully, [redacted] Chris's Car Care E Powell Blvd.Gresham Oregon 97030Office: 503-512-8832Fax: 503-512-8898Email: [redacted] @Gmail.com
